She provided me with all the information I needed to be able to get insurance to drive it back to BC in a timely manner. She was patient,supportive and ready to answer all the questions I had. They did an amazing job cleaning the vehicle. They had the vehicle priced right, hence my willingness to buy from out of province. Angelo was amazing and helped clarify any concerns we had as first-time buyers of a vehicle, and made sure we tested everything out during the test drive. He was helpful and insightful. We must have been to about 7 other dealerships that day and Angelo was the best person by far that we dealt with that day, which is why we wanted to stick with Royal Oak. Divina was also very helpful, and Rob made sure we were satisfied with everything on pick up day. We love our vehicle, thank you everyone at Royal Oak Nissan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a used Subaru from Royal Oak Nissan. The salesman tried to add an Admin/Doc fee on top of the listed price which violates AMVIC/Provincial Legislation regarding All in Pricing as per Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act.
After picking the vehicle up, I discovered some mechanical issues which would be costly to repair. Initially, Royal Oak Nissan attempted to avoid the issue, but did agree to look at the car. They did not find anything wrong with it. I took the car to an independent Subaru Shop. They diagnosed the problems which were ongoing issues from long before I bought the car. After some negotiation, Royal Oak Nissan agreed to purchase the car back and I received a full refund.
The Bad: They tried to add in fees which they aren't allowed to. And the Subaru's mechanical issues were not disclosed upon the sale of the vehicle.
The good: Most of the staff were very friendly. They did listen to my concerns from the beginning, and the issue was resolved professionally in a reasonable amount of time.
As always (regardless of where you shop): buyer beware, know your rights, and don't hesitate to have a third party inspect any used purchase. I do not believe Royal Oak Nissan intentionally attempted to conceal the vehicle's issues, and I am sure that the vast majority of their sales go smoothly. Unfortunately, this situation was not ideal for myself or Royal Oak.
