I had a very pleasant experience with the hotel. The only thing I would complain about the belongings the authority provide. I had to collect the toothbrush and toothpaste from the reception. For drinking, I had to boil the water from the coffee machine they provided. An electric kettle would be a better option for that

Rooms were fine and beds were OK but the pillows were like rocks. The safety handle in the bathroom was coming apart. The complimentary breakfast could be better. They just brought back eggs bacon and sausage but everything is microwaved and I actually ended up getting sick after having the breakfast. I think temperatures have to be watched hot stay hot and cold stay cold. Maybe a different hot plate or something. Staff wasn’t the greatest when we checked in the gentleman made me feel bad because he continued to tell me that because I booked through Expedia I wouldn’t get Wyndham points and then if I had booked with Wyndham I would’ve got one free night. Whether it’s you guys or the third-party booking engines a night is the night it shouldn’t matter how it’s booked. I didn’t need to hear that just after I checked in. When we left and came back to the hotel nobody acknowledged us at the front desk to say hi. The only thing I will say is I left something there and they got it back to me promptly. I booked there thinking I was getting a suite from the pictures on Expedia but I ended up with a normal king room so I’m not sure if I’ll ever stay there again there’s lots of other hotels in Regina.

Final stop on my road trip and all I have to say is THANK GOODNESS, after driving for so long The Royal Hotel was a God send. The customer service was amazing, the room was immaculate. My initial keys weren't working but my keys were replaced expeditiously and also received assistance from a the cleaning staff, very friendly and helpful . Thank you to all staff members for making my stay memorable.

This hotel is extremely aged. I’ll begin by saying the customer service is great, the people working there are very warm and friendly. However, the hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms feel like they’re from the 1950s. There is no insulation and you can hear every car drive by. Cracked paint and don’t get me started on the windows. The washroom was extremely tiny and we decided to not even bother using the bathtub as we were quite turned off by the appearance. We only stayed for one night. It was “clean” but just very old and in need of repairs. The door wouldn’t even turn, so every time we went in and out we had to slam it shut. The breakfast was the most horrible thing I’ve ever seen. There was some cereal, bread, bagels, juice and milk. The coffee was terrible. There was pre-wrapped (commercially purchased) breakfast sandwiches that you could throw in the microwave, just about gagged after one bite. There is literally nothing fresh about it. We really felt like we wasted our money. Do not recommend.

This place is as good as it says on the booklet. Stayed two nights. The hotel is located in a convenient place. There are few good places to eat just opposite the hotel. Views form the room is quite nice as you can see from the photo i uploaded. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. ***Only drawback to me is the heating system as the fan makes noise that can be bit annoying if you are a light sleeper.

My husband had a medical emergency. The Royal Executive looked expensive, but I did not have time to read reviews. The front desk agent sounded warm and very professional. The price was fantastic, so my expectations were low. I walked into one of the cleanest hotels I have seen in years. The rooms were just as great. The only down part was the lack of a microwave. I had grabbed chili at the hospital and it would have been nice to warm it. The morning checkout was just as great. Needless to say, my sister-in-law and friend came down to see my husband tonight; I immediately called the Royal Executive for a room. The same Front Desk Agent was on and just as great the second time. Thank you for the service but for hiring an employee with strong people skills.

Not sure why I have never tried this place. I spend at least 60 nights a year in hotels. Just decided to change it up a bit this trip. I am hooked! Clean, quiet, friendly, efficient staff and parking is free. The bed and the pillows are exceptionally comfortable. Even the continental breakfast proved to be that little bit extra that most hotels don’t bother with anymore. The room rates are very competitive with lesser, brand name establishments. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice little cozy hotel. Very friendly and accommodating front desk - David a special thanks to you for securing an urgent mail for me. The rooms are nice and the linen was surprisingly the cleanest I've ever seen in a hotel. They offer breakfast from 6am to 10am, which is alright (same everyday) but no specials as I've stayed there for a week or so. The only thing that bothered me was the presence of a microwave in the room, nevertheless there's one in the common area adjacent to the hotel lobby. Overall it was a nice experience staying at the Royal Exec Hotel.
