★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered an 8 piece and Fries and was pleased with the quickness of the service and the friendliness of the staff. Once I opened the bag and looked at the chicken I was surprised by the size of the pieces. The fries were just regular fast food fries nothing too special but the chicken was quite tasty and good sized pieces. Quite happy with the chicken and will order again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Royal fried chicken uses fresh chicken to cook. Also, the chicken pieces are bigger and the price is not expensive. Unfortunately, the skin is not crisp enough and a little oily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was pleasantly surprised to how much my family and I loved their chicken. Chicken was perfectly cooked, nice and moist. The skin was crunchy but not over battered. My wife even said she would choose this place over KFC. Ordering again tonight!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered last night for the first time. The chicken was really good, but the poutine was a HUGE disappointment. What they served was not poutine, it was cheese fries (poutine is supposed to have cheese curds, and this has yellow shredded cheese). They shouldn't mis-label their menu like this. I would not have ordered it if I had known. I ended up throwing it away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the 3pc combo with fries, macaroni, and a side of medium gravy. The gravy was okay, the macaroni was the typical kind with a mayo mix, and the fries were a generic store brand. Their fried chicken though is solid. The pieces are thick and juicy on the inside. The coating is crunchy, well seasoned, and delicious. I'd definitely come back.

The portions are reasonable for the price, although I found the chicken and fries to be unbearably greasy (far beyond the typical greasiness of fried chicken). There was a thick layer of oil right beneath the skin, and the fries were rather saturated with oil and soggy. The seasoning was also somewhat lacking. Overall not horrible, but there are definitely better options out there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food. I go there just about every lunch during school and they never fail to make an enjoyable lunch. Chickens good, fires are good. And about the chicken strips. They are amazing. Tops KFC chicken strips and is up with Popeyes chicken strips. 10/10 would recommend
