About Roofmart

Roofmart History

For more than 60 years Roofmart has been the distributor of choice among industry professionals in Canada. The Roofmart name was first registered in 1969, but our roots actually go back farther than that. Our business really began in 1957, when we first developed an association with IKO Industries. During the years following Roofmart grew along with IKO to become one of the largest roofing suppliers in Canada, and IKO’s largest distributor.

Roofmart evolved from a series of joint ventures with various distributors to ultimately become a one stop roofing and siding materials distributor catering to homeowners, contractors, home builders and developers. Our employees’ vast product knowledge and superior selection in residential asphalt shingles, commercial torch-on roofing, EPDM & TPO single-ply systems, siding, ventilation & waterproofing products, insulation, tools and safety products has allowed every person in the industry, regardless of company size, the opportunity to get top quality roofing and siding products and accessories from one reliable source; Roofmart.

We never stop looking for ways to improve our service and customer relations. We count on all our employees to deliver on our promise of quality and maintain our tradition of excellence. As a Canadian company we know the Canadian roofing industry and source products that best suit the Canadian building standards and environment in your area. For decades, we’ve been at your service with top quality products at the best possible prices. Roofmart backs these products with excellent customer service and sales people to assist with all your roofing and siding needs. You’ll find everything you need for your roofing and siding projects right here under one roof – ours!

Roof Centre History

Pacific Roof Centre was founded in 2002 with one branch serving the Thompson Okanagan and West Kootenay regions of British Columbia’s interior. Over the years as the area has grown, so has Pacific Roof Centre’s dedication to providing the materials our customers need when they need them. That is why we opened a Vernon and a Kamloops branch in 2008 and 2020 respectively to better service our customers in that area. Roof Centre became a one stop roofing and siding materials distributor catering to homeowners, contractors, home builders and developers.

Mission Statement

To embrace the energy, safety practices, teamwork, solid ethics and knowledge of the best people, utilize the most efficient facilities and reliable equipment, and provide premium service in order to be the supplier of first call to roofing, siding and other exterior building product customers.

I've never found Roofmart to be very helpful. They don't ever have any stock I need, and when I ask for suggestions they always just shrug their shoulders. No computer searches, nothing. "Do you sell double 5?" "Nope." That's it? Not "Try Monarch" or "Let me call a distributor." ? Do you sell cooper colored fascia? "Nope." Again, no suggestions about painting some? Nothing? It's no wonder people shop online now. Not only is there another distributor in Edmonton, they had the products I needed in stock, even though Roofmart staff claimed the products weren't manufactured anymore. I'll never go back to Roofmart. Most of the people I spoke to in the industry were surprised Roofmart is still in business!

Large stock of all the essentials, I have never been treated unfairly and have always felt respected as a contractor. They need new printers though as the process to get a pick up ticket and receipt is way too slow..

I've used Roofmart South twice now and both times they've been great. We bought Cambridge Dual Grey the first time and Cambridge Driftwood the next, and the pricing was the best we found in and around Edmonton after going to a few different stores. There was ample parking and we never had to wait long in line to place our order. The shingles were delivered on time as promised and I have no complaints. I'm surprised that this location has 2 bad reviews. I'm convinced you'll be treated very well if you call or visit.

Stopped in here a week ago to order some special order aluminum materials, the sales person was not very helpful. I made it known to them that although I am a trades, I am not a wider. So looking for advice and guidance was like trying to acquire the KFC secret recipe. Kinda disappointed with the service in a time when we are trying to encourage people to shop local

Very poor customer service. They weren't very knowledgeable or interested in helping us figure out what we need for our roofing project. Refered us to their supplier to answer our questions, and the supplier referred us back to them. It was pulling teeth to get info. Went to Spar-Marathon Roofing Supplies across the road and got all the information about products we needed no problem.

Rude Service, website says they have partnered with LP siding. None of the staff at any of the locations knows about the siding products. They don't have pricing on it. If you are looking for LP siding look somewhere else
