At the end of March 2022, my mom purchased an over the stove microwave from Rona Kamloops. After waiting weeks to get it installed and going through an on line process with Lowes, the new owners of Rona, it was finally installed. It was defective to the knowledge of the installers, who promised to return to remove it. They never came back. There followed a series of in person visits by my elderly mom to Rona and telephone messages from me trying to get the microwave removed. I do not live in Kamloops. Nothing happened. I found a phone number for the contractors who removed the original microwave and was able to speak to someone who arranged to have the defective unit removed that very day. Finally, after over a month Rona refunded the money for the microwave. I have since contacted Lowes by email repeatedly for a refund of the 168$ I was charged for the install of the defective unit. None of my emails have been responded to. It is a waste of time trying to phone Lowes. I have called Rona several times and left a message for the manager to call me back. She never answers the phone. Also no response. The customer service at Rona is non existent.

Lots of staff just standing around. I was only acknowledged by one staff member with a quick hello. No help offered. Large selection, reasonably priced.

Informed a Male clerk that they were out of Nail bags...so he gave me a paper bag, for iron nails...yeah, no thanks pally. Female clerk was kind, quick, and did a excellent job.

My husband and I stood at the check out counter patiently waiting with a bag of mulch and a couple of plants while the two female cashiers talked and ignored us until finally one of them rung us through. Neither of them made eye contact or said one word to us. I guess paying customers aren't priority ? Thank God we didn't need help with something!

I had a great experience at this Rona. I found everyone very helpful ( especially Bridge) I went in to pick up an item from an online order and it was a comedy of errors ( on my part) from the beginning. Many people made my experience great from Bridge locating the order, the gal that rung my extra purchase in, and then the boys/men that helped me put an oversize purchase into my little pickup. THANK YOU, we made it safely back home. In these recent days of short-tempered and rude customers, I found all the clerks really kind and helpful!! Bravo!
