β β β β β Rona used to be it's own entity with unique items and product lines and it's own pricing. Since it was purchased by Lowe's the Rona stores are in effect now mini Lowe's stores. Just change the name to Lowe's, your not fooling anyone.

Went to get an 1/2 inch 3 feet copper pipe, to fix an issue, I checked Home Depot and Loews, both had stock, both have it priced at 8.94$β¦ I thought, letβs encourage local, closer to my house Ronaβ¦.
Same product, they sell at 12.50$β¦.
Asked the service desk, and they scanned the code, and quickly said , thatβs the priceβ¦. With an attitudeβ¦.
Went to buy it anyway, and asked to speak to the manager to discuss the price and the attitude of the service desk personβ¦., the cashier calls him, and who shows up, same pretentious guy and he quickly says β itβs still the same priceβ without even talking to meβ¦. So rude !
Avoid this store and go to Loews\ Home Depot

β β β β β Been here a few times to pick up some building and misc supplies. Always have what I'm looking for, the cashier was friendly and helpful, the price was right. I have no reason to go anywhere else for my home improvement needs.

β β β β β This Rona is not it, for a contractor otd such a pain have to have to wait hours so long. I've been here 3 times and all 3 times I had to to wait over 1hr to get what I wanted. The staff are great, but these guys don't know what they are selling, they were not able to figure out what types of baseboards and how much they charge per sqft.
Customer service is good though just the system of ordering online and making adjustments to orders and placing order with the service desk and then the cashiers etc. was too much back and forth.

β β β β β Great store. Not huge so much easier to find things but they have what yiu need. Helpful staff. Prices may be slightly higher on somethings but you can be in and out way quicker than with home depot or lowes. Excellent paint department. Huge lumber are as well. Highly recommend

β β β β β Excellent service! Went this afternoon looking for an outdoor heater and there was an older gentleman who helped me. He was so patient and helpful it really made the experience memorable and made me more informed about the product I was looking for. Last I went to a hardware store was at Lowes just up the road and the staff there were so unhelpful and unhappy with their work. This was the opposite I'll definitely be back!
