Old news…. Old school bakery in the wrong way, they haven’t spent a dime in this place since the 1970’s everything’s really old , floors are super dirty, bathrooms are gross. Came for lunch to eat from the “hot table” it was a joke, everything’s been sitting there for a long time it looks old and stale, it’s cold and far from fresh . Young girl was super dry and rude. Time to retire folks

What's going on here!? Every single pastry we bought was so stale. Custard was rubbery and not even real custard used. Cannoli filled in the ends and empty AF in the middle. Get it together people, everyone is noticing. Sorry this place needs an overhaul. The pizza is lame and tired looking. Please fix your ways

Maybe just a bad day. I've always wanted to try this place. Went yesterday. had the chicken sandwich. Yikes. Meat was warm at best. Bun was cold. Not warm or toasted. Not much selection. Maybe just timing. Was there around 12pm or so. Won't be going back.

Sicilian cannoli was apparently very good, but my custard slice was still frozen upon purchase *** Edited to add a star ☺️. Came back another time and got some croissants and tea biscuits to bring to my grandparents. The store was well stocked and everyone loved their treats. You definitely have to go early for best selection!

More than just slab pizza! We've ordered Roma catering for multiple family functions now and have always been very happy with it! The food is all fantastic and always gets a ton of compliments from guests. Customer service is also fantastic! Will definitely be back!

This place has a unique product that had stood the test of time yet from a business stand point they are failing. Store has had zero improvements since the 80's. The lay out inside is not customer/employee friendly at all when busy. Product selection is poor... White pizza sells out daily before noon, why not adjust and make more? Today I looked on the website and called, both said they were open (answering machine said we are open but busy), only to drive 25 minutes in the snow to find out is closed. These are basic things that at this point should not be happening. So much potential but I guess they're content with where they are.

I pretty much enjoy going to their Stoney Creek bakery; they have variety of products to choose from: , pizza slabs (Pepperoni, Garlic & Oil, etc.), variety of hot food for lunches, bread, lasagna, pizza dough, cheese, dessert, pie, donuts and cake. The first time I went there, I got Red Velvet and Carrot cake slices and I can say it was the best Red Velvet cake I've ever tasted. After that, any time I go there, I make sure I add a slice of Red Velvet Cake to my order. There is always a lineup outside the store at lunchtime and I believe it is worth every minute waiting in that lineup, because you will be welcomed with friendly staff and the most amazing smell of food. I would definitely go visit over and over again.

original review date: may 8, 2021 2nd, 3rd review date and photo add-on's: november 23, 2021, feb. 11, 2022 customer since: september 1988 my first time trying the roma pizza squares was as a minor niner at cathedral boys high school, as there was a local variety store that sold them for 55 cents a square. after trying once, it became addictive lol. over the decades roma has maintained a consistent taste and quality with the signature item. while they do sell the bread-and-sauce slabs at fortinos and food basics, i prefer to drive to stoney creek to get my fix. today when i enjoy the squares, it's not just a pizza. it's basically 3+ decades of history... it's a flashback of lunches & dinners at home and work, food at parties, enjoying squares with friends. i enjoy visiting their flagship stoney creek bakery/retail store because they have all their products under one roof, and they have all their pizza options available. (plain, garlic and oil, pepperoni, pepperoni with mushrooms) there’s much more to roma than just their pizza slabs though…the store has a hot food service during lunch time, and they have fantastic dessert items, along with other bread/bun products, plus a catering service. the décor, products and the smell of the food makes one feel like as if one is taking a trip to europe. shout out to sarah who is one of their friendly store workers, and to store owner phil difilippo and his son anthony for carrying the torch and keeping the tradition alive. wishing the store and the workers continued success.? a big thank you to marissa and phil d. for taking care of my phone-in order today! greatly appreciated and the pizza was enjoyed with my friend. ? 2nd review, november 23, 2021, and 3rd review february 11, 2022: roma continues to provide great customer service, along with fantastic pizza and italian-style food. bottom line: i will continue supporting roma bakery and would recommend the store to others.?
