This is the location to go to for anything Roger's. The excellent staff are so skilled at what they do and have gone above and beyond to serve us and get the phones we wanted with the best deals asap. Also a spacious, comfortable and air conditioned environment with lots of comfy spots to sit and wait your turn to be served.

Third party PhoneProtectionPlanFreedomMobile (Brightstar), Rogers, i.e., the β€˜boss’, uses as their insurance company for customers, held my phone hostage at a repair shop until I paid an unjustified fee for repairs that were NOT done on my phone; as confirmed by the repair shop and subsequently communicated to Brightstar. After I paid the ransom for my phone and received it from the repair shop, Rogers immediately sent me an email as notification that my phone protection plan is canceled. After many correspondences with Brightstar, Rogers’ third-party insurance vendor for customers, they also refused to submit recorded transcriptions of our telephone correspondences to me stating it was against their corporate policy and that their recorded telephone conversations are for their use only. After a formal complaint, Brightstar (Rogers), refused to refund my money despite admitting on the phone they had made a mistake noting they had no way or process to refund as their corporate office responded to the complaint by stating there will be no refund despite the mistakes they made. I should mention each customer representative and manager I spoke with was extremely helpful and kind, they were all from the United States of America and they all noted, with respect to my complaints, their hands were tied as this was a Brightstar policy and that their corporate office responses to my complaints is the final answer. I think it is an intentional administrative obstacle preying on the nine out of ten customers that give up after an onslaught of administrative obstacles from Rogers (and it’s myriad companies formed as a monopoly, e.g., Brightstar) profiting handsomely from a scheme cloaked in a cumbersome administrative maze to nowhere but a lowly customer with an empty wallet and Rogers with a full belly. Like when Walmart double scans items at the till; likely a problem so profitable that it’s not worth taking time to fix it.

I just had the worst experience with Rogers. As a person with a mental health disability I found this company to be insensitive and providing a lot of misinformation. I had a major problem on my account because the promotion I was originally offered (and accepted) was supposed to apply for 12 months but after just 3 months I saw a drastic increase in my bill (which was a mistake done by Rogers). It was confirmed to me several times that this was a mistake on their end but the issue was never resolved. And when I called to follow up I was given new information yet again that contradicted what I was previously told. Having a mental health disorder means I have a lot of daily challenges but this one was more than I could handle. I decided to choose my mental well being over staying with this company. I cancelled my service with Rogers but my incorrect bill was never adjusted and I will take a major financial hit this month paying off my existing bill with Rogers and setting a new account with Bell and paying for it. I couldn’t imagine a worse resolution to my problem. Manager that I spoke to today did not seem to care about the mental anguish I was going through dealing with Rogers. When I mentioned that I have a mental health disorder and that this issue is negatively affecting my health she did not seem to care. I might have as well not even tried to express my frustration to her. She gave me a bunch of Uh Huhs and Okays while typing something on the computer. Then saying that my current incorrect bill can not be adjusted. I have never spoke to a more insensitive employee let alone a manager from any other company I have ever dealt with. I would give Rogers a 0 if I could. I learned a valuable lesson today. Never sign up with Rogers... especially if you already suffer from any mental health issues... it will not have a good impact on your health to deal with this company. After being on the phone for over 2 hours with them today I was left in tears and feeling extremely low.

Hidden transition fee. I will cancel the service entirely than paying a dollar of fee that slipped in the bill. Horrible management of customer acquisition and retention.

Since rogers is the parent company. I’d have to leave this on their site also. Unfortunately I have to give a 1 star review. All agents are dishonest with things promised verbally. Coming from Telus, 5g is something I wanted to consider and asked before signing up if Fido was on the same network. It was not as after switching over to Fido as only LTE shows up on my iPhone 12 and not 5g. Transparency is most important for consumer, even if there no 5g I may have still signed up but not a good feeling when you find out you’ve been lied to. When signing up, asked if they could do the Black Friday deal 12gb/24 months that’s pictured and the agent said no problem and notes are made on my file. After receiving SIM card and porting my number over 2 days latter, agent that was helping me with that said there was no notes on my file and the $40/month plan only for 15 months. Terrible with honestly and sad a company has to lie to get new customers. Didn’t have this problem with Telus-totally transparent and no issue for the years I’ve been with them. Maybe have to switch back!!! To add insult to injury, my friend showed me his contract and for his Black Friday sales which he got from Gary at the Richmond Center store for 24 months at $35 for the same 12gb plan. How can there be different deals at the same time depending who you talk to?

I had a insurance with BrightStar Insurance provided through Rogers for iPhone XS Max. Phone’s screen got broken so they fixed it for free in behalf of insurance company. Employees working at these repair shops told me that BrightStar provide them screens. Apparently the screen stopped working after few days when I was on trip to India. When I came back and went to get the solution from Apple care centre, there they told me that the warranty is being void and the screen was duplicate. So, is this what we get from these insurance companies? Now, insurance company is asking for $400+tax to replace a phone because the phone is out of warranty as they opened it.
