About Riverstone Veterinary Services
Co-owner of Riverstone Vet,
Meg was born and raised in Sundre, Alberta. Following one year of undergraduate studies at Red Deer College Meg decided to apply to vet school overseas at Massey University in New Zealand. It is here that she spent the next 5 years completing her BVSc degree in Veterinary Science. In the last clinical year of her degree she spent time touring New Zealand, working in various rural practice clinics over both the North and South Islands. She spent the majority of her weekends working on a local dairy farm contributing to her keen interest in large animal medicine. In 2017 Meg received an award for her research on antimicrobial stewardship in the equine industry and is currently in the process of writing her first publication. She has a passion for diagnostic radiology and ultrasound and hopes to continue her education in this field in the future.
During her free time she enjoys golfing, hiking, kiteboarding, traveling the world for the best dive spots and of course spending time with her horses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful staff awesome veterinarians. I am a new customer and have two labs that needed medical attention. The staff got me in to see the doctor quickly, Dr Megan took excellent care of both of them.
Had an emergency on the weekend Dr Curt called back quickly and told me what to do. The next day he phoned back to check on my dog. I am very impressed with all staff if you love your animals bring them here they will get the care they deserve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute best veterinarians work at Riverstone. They have done spays and neuters for my cats and dogs, as well as floats and surgeries on my horses. Theres no doubt I'd ever use another vet in Alberta. They are reasonable and realistic and talk about your pet like they are family. Its refreshing and I always trust their opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Vet clinic is amazing. I have two dogs, one is a Belgian Malinois. She’s a bit high maintenance and Dr.’s Meg and Criss are extremely good with her. The staff is super caring and the facility is very well set up. My other Dog is a mini Australian Shepard and this is the only clinic he’s ever been to. They treat him like royalty he walks in like he owns the place. Lol I recommend these Vets and this clinic you won’t regret using them. Prices are also very reasonable.

All his support staff are knowledgeable and reliable. Very open and approachable. They keep you in the loop regarding your animals and pets. Highly recommend his practice. Very professional and up to date on all aspects.
I drive from carstairs to sundre to see him and its worth it.
