About River Wheels - Bike rental Calgary, Downtown
How it all started...
Jordan is a true traveler, a cyclist and a true entrepreneur. Having started a successful coffee shop in Victoria in 2016, she knew she wanted to eventually bring her start-up spirit back to her hometown of Calgary Canada.
In the summer of 2018 she worked at her neighbour and friends' company Lazy Day Rafts rentals Calgary. It became clear that lots of people, locals and tourists alike, were looking for fun ways to spend the sunny days in Calgary.
For the past ten years she's been riding a folding bike (and listening to the Talking Heads, for that matter) and after several failed attempts at getting a coffee shop off the ground she decided to combine her other passions of checking out all the fun places to see in Calgary, coming up with fun activities and sharing her city with others. And thus, this crazy adventure - part bike shop, part Calgary tour, part local business promotion company - we call River Wheels was born.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented 2 bikes to tour the river and surrounding islands, this is a great way to see some of the awesome sights around Calgary. Bikes were great and staff was very helpful. Best thing about this place is that they are open much later than many of the other bike rental spots around town. Reasonably priced as well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon! The bikes were in great shape and the pick up spot was so close to all the paths Jordan directed us to. She was really knowledgeable about the area and gave my husband and I great route suggestions. We loved biking along the Bow and taking breaks at cute cafes along the way. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city/thinking of what to do for a date!
