These are the kindest ? people. I have a sick dog and they took wonderful care and made room in there busy schedule to see him. I am very appreciative of the care they took with our best friend and how they also took care of my husband and I. They love all the animals and it shoes in how they compassionate they are. Best vet and staff on the planet!! I drive all the way from Toronto just to come here, after having dogs for 13plus years and being to numerous different vets, the techs and vets here are outstanding! They CARE, they really care! They not only provide the best educated service, they handle your fur babies with love and don’t price gouge when your in a crisis! Last year my 12 year old chihuahua had an accident and had to have his eye completely removed the cold emergency vets in Toronto wanted $7500 and up for his surgery, the vets here took exceptional care of him for a quarter of that the next day. It’s been about a year since then and he’s doing amazing! We came back recently because he was in another crisis that was overlooked by a horrible vet from Toronto, a simple infection turned into a life or death situation because the Toronto vet failed to give him antibiotics even after he was rushed in after passing out, having anemia and a blood infection showing up in his bloodwork. It’s common sense that antibiotics should have been the first thing given to him with bloodwork like that…but it wasn’t and for 2 weeks I was positive this was the end for him…Until I thought I needed a second opinion so I brought him back here and with one shot of antibiotics 24 hours later he’s back to normal like nothing happened! I can’t stress enough how amazing this whole team and practice is! Do not hesitate on bringing your pet here for any reason, anyone who lives in the wasaga area is blessed to have a clinic like this! This kind of care and fair pricing is unheard of in the city, it’s worth the drive to wasaga! Thank you for taking such good care of my little fur baby Bentley! ? You gave us hope again!

Pleasantly surprised on our first visit, with the treatment & the bill. I brought my very, very scared (& occasionally aggressive) cat in to RRAH & Meg (or Mag) was the attending vet. My long haired cat gets so dirty (partially reno'd home, too many dirty hiding places & her first 4-5 months of life were spent fighting to survive outside) & she wont let me near her backside with a wet cloth, so she had to be somewhat cleaned & shaved back there to even do the exam! After hearing all the treatments she needed I was feeling somewhat frightened myself.. but. the bill was nothing like I expected! & she didn't even charge for the extra shaving & clean up! Brianna, Maddie & Meg were all very kind, polite & attentive. PS: I tend to be very anxious & confusing when I'm worried but Meg was very patient with me. If working to decipher my ramblings in order to sort out the problem was frustrating, she did good to hide it in my company. :)

I've been going to River Road Animal Hospital for over a decade with family pets and my own dog who is now 7. They are always sooooo helpful and go above and beyond. I travelled to Australia with my dog and the amount of paper work and scheduling involved with this was overwhelming. The River Road team, took ownership of setting it all up which put me at ease and everything was just perfect. My dog is a nervous boy at the vet but they are so sweet and gentle with him.

My animal was sick. They took my information on Friday and told me to come back in on Monday at 1:30. I came in on Monday, 1:30pm. My cat was dead by 2:00pm. They said it was my fault and then threatened to call the police if I wanted to get a second opinion. Then, they sent kind emails (even happy birthday email for my dead cat) to me until I paid my bill. The day I paid my bill, they told me not to come back. They are heartless goofs.

Best vets I have ever had. I am so grateful, they are so caring, kind and knowledgeable. They take such amazing care of my boy Floyd. Highly recommend ❤️❤️

The tech that met us at the door and dropped Max off was lovely. David was quick and thorough with his assessment and vaccines. We've been going here for years and have always appreciated the personal attention that Kelly and her staff give.

I absolutely love the veterinary team and the veterinarian Dr. Anderson. She was very attentive and understanding to our temperamental dog and provided solutions with absolute no pressure in a high degree of professionalism.
