Elmvale Veterinary Hospital

I have been going here for 10 years (since we got our German Shepherd Zoey) We don’t live very close but make the drive because we trust them. Last month we had to put our girl to sleep (very unexpectedly) and with all of the Covid rules - they made ever effort to make it the best it could be. We very much appreciated it and will never forget that! So a very big thank you to Scott & Dr. Lisa! This month, our Rottweiler broke his K9 tooth so we decided to have it removed. Dr. Ken (I’m not going to try and spell his last name ?) did a fabulous job! The surgery went great and he did an awesome job at explaining recovery and post op care! Our boy is back to normal and feeling great! Posting a picture of the tooth below - the thing was HUGE! ? I am very surprised by the negative reviews on pricing - as I have always found them to be very fairly priced compared to our local vets and I have NEVER left there feeling pressured to spend more money then I should. I’ve actually had them convince me not to spend money that is unnecessary. The only complaint I have, which is small - but I’m still going to mention it so maybe it doesn’t happen to anyone else. When we were paying for our German Shepherds cremation- I wanted to pay in cash (as I always do) and Leanne was very rude, rolling her eyes and counting it - making it us very aware that she was annoyed about it. Call us old fashion but cash is still money and we shouldn’t be treated differently for paying with it. The owners have gloves and whatnot at the desk for their safety. So we really didn’t see the huge deal. But, the next time we came in, Priscilla took it no problem and was so sweet! Besides that minimal situation - I have nothing but amazing things to say! Thank you for all of the help over the years! We highly recommend you to everyone! ?

Great people and I've been amazed how they can squeeze us in for emergencies even on a weekend! Knowledgeable, thorough and prices are very fair!

All I can say is these guys care about pets health and are not here to price gouge. Not only did they take my cat in when she needed emergency surgery but it was half the cost of what another vet in barrie told me it would be. These guys called to check up on her after she was home from surgery and when we didn't think our cat was doing what she was supposed to, They made an appointment for her for later that day to bring her in and be seen. I would definitely recommend these guys over anyone else around. I will definitely be switching vets to make this my dogs and cats home vet no questions asked. I cannot say enough how greatful I am for their services and how friendly and accommodating they are. These guys are amazing!

Had a great experience with my dog Cillian here. I called on the weekend unsure about what to do medically with my dog, Scott advised me and answered all my questions. On Monday they fit me in first thing in the morning, did not oversell and explained everything clearly. Dr. Mabbott was lovely to deal with. They were quick at diagnosing and priced fairly. I've had a couple of bad experiences at past clinics and am confident I've found a good one. Thank you!

I bring my 2 Cats and 1 very large Saint Bernard who has a little bit of anxiety and the staff have always been absolutely outstanding in dealing with my boys quirks. It was my first time bringing a dog to the vet ever as hes my first dog and a three year old rescue. They made something that could have been a very stressful experience more of a laughing one with their calm demeanor and understanding. Dr. Alfred is absolutely outstanding to deal with and comes highly recommended. I have not worked with the other staff but i am confident they are equally stellar to work with !! Dont be afraid to ask any questions as they are more than happy to provide an anwser to even the simplest of inquiries

We recently visited to have our elderly dog put down. The staff at Elmvale Veterinary Hospital are wonderful, caring and accommodating people. They handled our issue with respect and dignity. Thank you so much for your help. It was a sad day made easier because of the great people that work there.

This veterinary clinic is absolutely amazing.. not only did they do what I needed in a FRACTION of the time it took another clinic to do the same thing a few months back. The vet was honest with me, he had also advised me how to make sure my runt has a good chance at life instead of doing what I asked and sending me on my way. All the staff are very friendly and patient and I could not be happier with my visit here. Though they are quiteeee far from me I truly don’t see myself going anywhere else ever again for absolutely anything I need in terms of vet care.

The veterinarians are all terrific. My friend and veterinarian Dr. K. Storiman is a fantastic vet/surgeon. He operated one one of my basset hounds and had my boy all taken care of and stapled up his incisions. The care and attention given to all who enter this hospital/clinic is exemplary. I know that my pets are in great hands at the Elmvale Veterinary Hospital/Clinic. I couldn't be happier knowing that my boys are so well taken care of and the staff are all so great.
