★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited to purchase skincare for my wife earlier this year. Everything is local, all natural and hand made and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We now purchase all of our skincare here and recommended Ritual to our friends as well. If you are looking for hand crafted product that is sourced locally and want to support your local community this is a wonderful little shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been looking for good skincare for months. Tried all of the high end Sephora brands. Nothing has worked like the products from here. Noticed that my skin loved it within just one day, and it continues to. Staff are incredibly caring, and helpful in tailoring a skincare routine that works for your skin. This is where I'll be getting my skincare products from now on; I can't stress enough how impressed I am.

I was recently in your store to do product refills. I noticed when you handed back the 3 jars that one appeared to be less full than the others. When I asked about it I was told that they were filled by weight of 45g and that the original weight when bought new is 50g. Then I was told if they put too much that you will run out of product. That comment doesn’t sit well with me. It’s like saying to someone that they can’t have all 4 new tires cause they might run out and not have enough for another customer. I was a paying customer looking for product. It made me feel like I wasn’t a worthy customer to actually fill the one jar properly. By the way I weighed them when I got home. One was less than the others. To me you should be happy that you run out of product because it means you have customers and demand. Order or make more. I need to seriously think about if I will be back next time as this was not a good experience for me and after weighing them I feel like I was cheated out of product.

Thanks for your response. No “sour” or “sticky” feelings here (not sure even what those mean) Concerned yes. I would have asked you to reweigh it at the time but I had someone waiting for me. Care was not taken at the time to recheck the jar when I mentioned it, that was my concern.

My husband is in love with the bath salts & balms, great for this time of year when the skin becomes very dry...
The staff at the shop are knowledgable and friendly and I am very impressed with the innovative idea of being able to refill your containers.

I use lots of the Willow's Bark products for my skin-care routine now and the Apothecary is my go-to shop for loose herbs. They do free local delivery in Peterborough which is so convenient and the shop is also beautiful and serene to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to pick up an order I made online after a coworker recommended this shop as 'bulk barn for witches' and decided to look around before leaving. My coworker was right. I ended up walking out with some tea and a chocolate bar (had to resist the urge to buy out all of the bath products) and I would buy a whole case of those vanilla pink salt chocolates! The employees working were friendly and knowledgable and the products are not only quality but you get a great amount for what you're paying for as well! I intend to go back for any of my beauty/skin care crafting, tea making, or honestly just because it's a lovely shop. Highly recommend
