â â â â â I can't say enough about how wonderful Maunty was with my 8 month old golden retriever for his obedience training. It's like I came home home with a new dog! I took my dog out to a field for the first time since he got home yesterday and he was amazing with recall. Maunty gave me weekly updates with his progress and was patient with all of my questions; I was pretty nervous about leaving my pup for so long. You can tell that Maunty has a true love and passion for the dogs that he trains. My dog still has the same happy go lucky personality and is still a big suck but now he actually listens to us! My golden came home clean, happy and in great shape. I have the utmost trust for Maunty and can confidently say that we will be bringing any of our future retrievers to him as well for obedience training.

â â â â â Amazing is an understatement to the training my dog received. My one year old lab (buddy) is a high energy highly social dog and would jump on every single person he met, he would not listen to me and would not come back when I called for him on the acreage or if he was out playing. No one in my family could walk buddy on leash because he would almost pull you to the ground. After coming back from training I am beyond words at how well behaved buddy is. He listens to my commands, comes to my side when I whistle for him, everyone and anyone in my family can walk him now as he stays stuck on your left side and doesn't run and pull like he used too, he knows he shouldn't jump on people as he now understands basic commands and more. Buddy is changed in the fact he is unbelievable trained but his bright, happy, high energy personality is still there. I highly highly recommend sending your dog for obedience training and hunting training at ringneck kennel's! I am still shocked everyday with how much easier it is on me and buddy because the bond becomes even stronger when you and your dog are on the same page.

â â â â â We have been using Ringneck Kennels to board our Labs for many years. Great staff and nice facilities.
We have also had several Labs trained and Monty did an amazing job with everyone of them.
We highly recommend Ringneck for both board and training .

â â â â â My family was hesitant about giving having Axel away for training for an entire month as he is an integral part of our family.
However, the small sacrifice was well worth the result.
Axel was somewhat behaved in controlled and quiet situations prior to he training at with Maunty, but had very poor impulse control. Following his training he is well behaved in all situations.
We are SO SO happy with the results. No yelling, no frustration, no anxiety, just an extremely well behaved dog in the house and outside in public. We just pick him up last week, and we've already had numerous compliments on how well behaved Axel is in all situation.
We should have done this sooner.
Maunty did an excellent job in all regards. He communicated with us on a regular basis giving us updates on Axel's progress. The results of the training have far exceeded our expectations. Axel is now two years old and we all agree we should have done this last year when he was just over a year.
Ten of ten on all aspects!!! Great value.
If you value your companion, this training is a MUST.

â â â â â I should have done this a few years ago. With Covid and stuff time just got away from me. We were referred to Ringneck kennels by a family member who had their dog trained by Monty. This guy is amazing. I was at my Wittâs end with my new puppy, I needed help. Monty has a great program and is kind, loves
the dogs he trains. Donald came back a new dog. Monty teaches you the commands and how to handle the dog. We still use all of his techniques today. I get stopped on the road while running or walking him. Everyone comments on how well he is trained and asks who trained him. He is so well trained off leash. He comes to voice command, whistle, we have only used the e-collar once or twice. When we walk as soon as he sees or hears a car he goes to the side of the road and sits until he is given the command to go. I would highly recommend Monty. Sorry if I spelt your name wrong!

â â â â â Maunty is an excellent trainer for both obedience and gun dog. I am thrilled with the level of training my dog Falcon has achieved with him, and am amazed at the level and distance of blind work Falcon can do.
I have recommended Ringneck Kennels for obedience training for my sisterâs dog and also my friends that had dogs with issues. All have been very pleased with the results, including one friend whose dog no longer chases cars but responds quickly back to his owner.
I also recommend them for training for basic gun dog, handling and competition training.

â â â â â I have had three dogs trained at Ringneck Kennels. All three dogs have turned out excellent. I will not take a dog anywhere else for training. My dogs are a combination of family pet and hunters. Maunte's training techniques provide the basis for excellent behaviour at home, as well as maximizing a dog's potential in the field. I would recommend him to anyone with a family pet, or to a hardcore hunter.

â â â â â We have used Ringneck for boarding numerous times. We have also had 2 waterfowl retrievers trained there and the results have been fantastic.
The results speak for themselves. I guided with my dog Tobias for 7 seasons. I stopped counting retrieved birds at around 8000 and just let the doggo keep working. The boarding is great too. The dogs get regular exercise and the place is always clean.
I wouldnât ever hesitate to use them again.
