Friendly staff!! But unfortunately my bus was like a sauna!! There was no air vents - at least the ones above us didn’t work. It was a warm sunny day and he had the heat on! ?‍♀️ Then when they changed drivers, it got better! The new driver cooled it down nicely!! The seating was cramped though and smaller than I anticipated, as well as uncomfortable too! Once people started getting off however, you could move seating - I did and got myself two seats ;) Then it was good. Bring a pillow you’ll be ok! Again staff was really nice at least, and tickets really cheap - and that’s why I gave the 4 stars. Update: when we switched drivers he put the air conditioning on because it got nice and cooled down! So I think it just depends on the nationality of the driver in terms of what the bus temp will be. Makes sense!

Bus transportation was good and only lasted a few hours. The people riding with you can be very rude but other than that's its grate!

I've took the rider express several times, each time was always a great experience, even the time when I had my 4 year old son with me going to AB from S'toon he was so fascinated with the big bus!! Buses are always well kept and clean. They remember their customers or seems that they do and treat them with hospitality and respect, wonderful drivers, great energy/attitude .. they get you there safe and on time, thanks Rider Express keep up the good work!! ?

These guys have an area to claim your luggage and service animals. The manager would not allow me to take my registered service dog because I'm not blind! Only blind people are allowed!! It doesn't state that anywhere! And he wouldn't give me a refund! And it cost me $16.00 in a cab to get here! Now I have to pay $200 to get to Wilkie to get my car. This manager would not inquire for me I explained I need my service animal for my high bloodpressure, he didnt care. Coming here was a waste of time/money/aggrevation! Obviously they hate animals. I phoned their 1-800 I don't care number and they also stated that their health and safety policy cannot allow animals, but it is waived if you are blind. So all other disabilities do not warrant a need for a service animal. The complete level of prejudicism I have been shown today definitely warrants a lawsuit. Shame on Rider Express for treating disabled people with such disrespect and prejudicism. See you in court.

The price of a round trip from Saskatoon to Vancouver is $560. How can this be justifiable? There needs to be better pricing and at least 2 days a week the bus connects to Saskatoon. It's not practical to be stuck in Vancouver for a week when taking the bus.

Discriminate against disabled people. They tried to cancel my ticket an hour before I was supposed to leave because I had a service dog, despite her having all of her proper government and training documents. They said they only recognize a disability if you are blind and won't accept service animals for any other reason even with proper certifications. Horrific service

I've taken the Rider Express bus many times and haven't had reason to be dissatisfied until recently. On Dec.23rd I took the bus from Red Deer to Saskatoon. The bus was well over an hour late to Red Deer which could be understandable because of the road conditions however there was no update from the company informing us what was happening. I'd suggest some sort of communication even by email when delays this long are happening so customers aren't just left to wait and wonder. At some point along the way between Edmonton and Saskatoon there was an asian male driver that would bark out at nearly all the stops "no breaks!" Eventually someone walked up to him and explained we hadn't had a break in over 4 hours and that the bathroom toilet was overflowing and unusable. Stops would be made to pick up and drop off passengers and those stops were often 5 to ten minutes long anyway so there was no reason people couldn't hop off for a few minutes to stretch their legs etc.. On the way back from Saskatoon to Edmonton on the 7th of January the same male driver drove part of the way and again wouldn't let people get off the bus for a quick break at nearly all the stops. I was relieved he was replaced by a female driver along the way that was very friendly and personable. Bus from Saskatoon all the way to Red Deer was VERY cold as the bus had a heating issue. Was very disappointed this time around in what is usually a pleasant trip.

Not on time very on time. One trip had 40min delay but no explanation was given to the customers (due to bad weather).. Polite drivers, if you book your name is recorded..not all buses have electricity plugins but there is free wifi to on the trip (I didn't use it to comment about the quality).
