★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a chicken burger and fries the food was great. I didn't notify then about shellfish allergy and was informed that the shellfish is cooked along side of the chicken. Fish is cooked on other side if the kitchen. I had an allergic reaction when I ate my chicken burger. Other then that it was great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great evening. The 8 little kids, plus the 6 adults meant we were in the back room to ourselves. It was so perfect. Good food, super helpful service, even the bathroom was the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reservation made a week prior to our visit. Arrived at the appointed time to find there seemed to be no record of our reservation. We waited at the front for a good 30 minutes before they put 2 tables together for our party of 5. Getting menus was another 10 minutes or more, and food was extremely slow coming out. We arrived at noon and it was 2:30 when we left. The one saving grace was the food...4 of us ordered omelets, and they were truly delicious. Portions were generous as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were disappointed with our meal. The service was good. The nachos had more cheese on the paper than the chips. The lasagna was too sweet and slightly burnt on top. The child's grilled cheese was on the verge of burnt. Ceaser salad was so/so. We will try breakfast but won't have dinner there again. $74 for a barely adequate meal was disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meeting up with friends in Parksville and they suggested Ricky’s I had met them there before. The place was packed course it was Lunch Time . We were seated within a couple minutes/ our waitress was there immediately getting our drink orders. I remembered her from our previous visit to the restaurant . Once again excellent service although very busy she checked on our beverages/ refilled our coffee all the time moving wth a purpose, once again I’ve focused on the service CONNIE was the server/ might also mention the food was excellent as well. This is the second review I’ve done this week and Ricky’s seems to be hiring excellent people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Changing my review from one star to five stars since the new ownership. Took the family there the other night everything was perfect and what we asked for service was happy Could definitely tell there was a new cool also so I asked and there was he does a great job. So pleased not to see that old grumpy man there again (old owner) the last time that we went and were never going back before new ownership he put his hand down his pants scratched his a** for a while then grabbed my food from heating station and brought it to us I refused it told him to throw it away And the still brought bus a bill super gross

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was very good here, I highly recommend their version of chicken tenders. Our waitress was the sweetest, most personable woman as well. It's just that the wait time was quite long - I imagine due to staffing issues. If you're okay with waiting, it's a pretty good place to eat. And the booths are comfortable even if you are a bigger person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WONDERFUL MEAL!! AWESOME SERVER ,she always had a smile !! All the meals we ordered were GREAT .. when kids eat everything and say how wonderful it was .. we have found THE PLACE?? fish and shrimp not OVER BATTERED.. done just right!! The FRIES were even great the next day!! Will definitely be back for more!!! I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO sit and enjoy a meal just once!! KEEP IT UP!! ????
