About Ricky's All Day Grill - Medicine Hat
From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 1st time here. Destiny our server was great very friendly and seemed to be on her toes whenever we needed something. I ordered the Greek wrap and a salad. It was good. Everything inside tho seemed to be clumped together. I think it would have been better if they had tossed the ingredients together in a bowl before putting it in the flat bread. Every time I took a bite it was just a clump of chicken or a clump of feta etc. On another note tho seasoning of your own ( salt n pepper) is not needed. Flavors were excellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the food at this place is amazing. Best Philly cheese steak I've had! But they are very short staffed. Even though our waitresses for each visit worked hard, the restaurant simply didn't have enough and the waiting times for orders and food were way too long.

The service was great, but the food was exceptional hot until the last piece of fruit, unheard of in the restaurant business ( yes, I mean hot).I had the stuff french toast. Great flavor in the sauce; the peaches were still firm. I also had a side of bacon. The bacon was crispy, hot, and flavorful. And it still looks like bacon. I would like to thank ALL the staff at Ricky 's Medicine Hat at Radcliff Drive. Oh, by the way, I have never left a review for any breakfast place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have now eaten here three times and the quality and service has been flawless. Burger, wrap and a club were the choices and they were delish!
Side salads blended greens, tomatoe and cranberries and the club had generous layers of crisp bacon and juicy turkey.
Not much for ambience and the dining room needs a coat of paint to brighten a drab interior but we aren't too particular if the meal rocks...well done Ricky's management and staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped at Ricky's on our way to Calgary from Regina. Had some of the spring menu items - they were delish!! The Cinnamon Waffles are a must try. Loved the ambience, menu and most of all the hospitality! I would recommend Ricky's to anyone who wants to have a good portion , value for money breakfast/brunch/lunch/anytime of the day dine-in!
