★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not wanting to stay in Winnipeg overnight, we searched Google maps and found the Richer Inn. From the call to reserve to the meal in the restaurant, all of the service staff are so accommodating and genuinely friendly.
The room is quaint, cozy, clean and quiet. The tavern is a clean, well laid out area and the restaurant shares the same. The food. Is. Fantastic. Vegetables grilled and seasoned perfectly, baked potato fresh with real bacon bits, fries that are super tasty, home made coleslaw and dressing, home made tar tar sauce for the pickerel, steak medium rare cooked to perfection with sautéed onions and real mushrooms... “You Gotta Eat Here” needs to know about this local treat. A pleasant and welcomed surprise all around, thank you to Kim, Tory and Vickie for making our stay so unforgettable.
This is a quaint, simple and happy to serve location just outside a major city where I know the chances I would be disappointed are good to pretty good.
Highly. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are well taken care of and in pretty good shape. Right off the TransCanada so perfect location for our needs. Lots of open area to walk my dog too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually have the steak as it's good, the baked with the works are great.....had the deep fried mushrooms last night 5 mushrooms 7.95 were not good and were expensive, chicken wings were overcooked..burgers are good.
Consistency would be nice.
