Truly a getaway experience, Elk Ridge boasts large conference and banquet rooms that overlook Elk Ridge Pond through floor-to-ceiling windows. French doors open onto a patio in front of the Pond. Meetings were never so inspired.

After hours, there's lots to do in every season. In summer, play a round of golf, go for a jog, hike, or bike ride, soak in a hot tub, try bird watching or stargazing, check out the beach at Waskesiu, or gather with colleagues around an outdoor fire. In the snowy season, test your ability on skis, snowmobile, snowshoes or toboggan (no, it's not just for kids), or try curling or skating on the Pond.

B	Blaire Fowler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have stayed here on 2 different occasions a few years apart. The suites were dirty both times. We needed to clean before we could unpack our stuff. This time there was so much stuff under the couches, stuff spilled on the walls and floor and garbage(used bandaids) next to the garbage cans on the floor. Our kids are little so we needed to clean before they put the stuff they found on the floor in their mouths. My husband complained but the staff working just said ok but nothing was really done. The location is great, right off the lake and slightly away from the busy beach.
J	Jaclyn Edwards on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location and clean rooms. However, owner is very rude and not understanding. We were new customers who had booked our stay for our cousin's wedding. We arranged to stay one night, and the staff member we had talked to on the phone was understanding and said we were able to book only one evening as that is all we required. We got a confirmation email for the one evening. Then when we checked out we were told there was a minimum two-night stay policy by the owner and was forced to pay an extra night, although we had only booked to stay one night. We were not told ahead of time about this policy and we're completely unaware of it. They said they sent another email, but it was sent to an incorrect email and there was no further effort to make contact with us to ensure we knew the policy. The owner was very abrasive to my entire family and would not take responsibly for her staff's miscommunication. Our MasterCard provider even said that her policy and business was "sketchy". All in all, the owner could have simply charged us one night, and had happy and returning business, but instead she permanently lost any future business with our family.

Y	Yves Bolduc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basic lodge. Convenient with full kitchen with balcony and BBQ. Dated furniture, but warm with wifi and satellite TV. Great place to take the family on a winter getaway. Lots of snow for xcountry skiing, skating, hiking. Will go back next winter.

The rooms, the views and being so close to town put this spot at the top if you are looking to stay in Waskesiu. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the place. But what I think puts Waskesiu Lake Lodge on the platinum level compared to the rest is the Staff! From the moment we checked in, I could tell they were a very friendly group, after about 10 minuted of meeting them I felt like I had met some new friends. I have never been on first name basis with a hotel staff before but it made my stay so much better. Kim, who was so great about getting us Paddle Boards and setting our golf booking, and who always greeted me in the morning with a smile on her face or a laugh at the roughness of my morning appearance. Spring, who was always smiling, willing to help and who really went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. Bob, Bev and the rest, who always had a helpful suggestion if we were looking for something to do about town. We really had such a good time and are looking forward to coming back hopefully very soon! Take care! PS. we're missing Freddy and Tibby a whole lot!
