★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint little park. Great for dogs, kids, joggers, or whatever else! There's a 1km-ish trail through the forest, an open field to play in.
It's a shame the sugar Shack was burned down, but if they get it built back up this is definitely a gem in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended a POW WOW here, and got my booster here too! This place also has a skate rink in the winter. It's nestled away, in a central area of the city, so, it feels extra outdoorsy cozy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Ottawa for a weekend and only briefly stopped here , we only barely went inside the park cause I was whining I was hungry but from what I did see It looked like a nice park to explorer , I saw numerous walkers/hikers, I'm not sure 5he size of the park but it would be worth a further exploration, I recommend

Only suggestion would be for the city to implement a trashcan at the entrance to the park

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Vanier Sugar Festival almost two weeks ago! It was awesome! The indigenous people's crafts were cool; stages and musics in the big tent were truly impressed; it was the first time I had ever seen maple trees and sap buckets; and farm animals and sledge dogs were genuinely cute! I saw a dog with odd eyes. I will never forget this festival! The size was a bit smaller than my expectation though. ?
