★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Andrea has made me regain faith in physiotherapy as a profession (no offence to all the other great physiotherapists out there, this is based on my own experiences with the practitioners I had come to encounter in the past). She's professional and straightforward yet personal and patient in providing diagnostic analyses and explanations. Effective treatment and exercises. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an experienced and effective physiotherapist. Plus, love the Beechwood location, very pleasant space and set-up.

He has done a great job in target the specific muscles that were causing my issues. Would highly recommend for anyone with a similar problem.

The manual therapist, Michael Dinh, provides the most effective treatment I have received since my car accident in 2018. I’m new to Ottawa and so grateful to have found this place. Andrea Bacik, their Physiotherapist and Dr. Harris, Chiropractor are so professional and caring. They have been a critical part of helping me to stay mobile and reduce pain. Thank you!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found Michael by surprise, never heard about his work before (Comprehensive Manual Therapist) but since he was the only person available in a clinic near where I live I gave it a try. I was told by other therapists that my problems did not have a permanent solution and if I started to feel a lot of pain just go to some massage but Michael literally gave me light at the end of the tunnel and increased my hopes to not feel constant pain. I could see improvements since my first consultation.
He is THE BEST professional I ever saw my whole life (this includes professionals from 3 countries where I lived before). He is fixing all my shoulder/neck problems that all other professionals, chiropractors and other health professionals, could not fix).
He is objective and tells you what is the best treatment, how he will do it and what exercises I have to do at home to support his treatment.
As he mentioned and I 100% agree: I was very very lucky to “bump” into him.
And I am very grateful that I found him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was for about two months undergoing manual therapy at this location and I have nothing but positive experience from the staff and my manual therapist Michael. The staff is one of the nicest and friendliest I have ever experienced. Very professional.
I was suffering from a mid to lower back pain due to a severe knee injury that I ended up having and due to a really bad mattress. Since all I was doing was sitting and hardly moving, this ended up affecting my neck and my back to a great extent. Also, sleeping on a soft mattress made it even worse.
I started my therapy with Michael around December end 2020 for my back and in within 10-12 sessions my pain was almost reduced to a complete zero. He knew exactly what to do and also gave me some effective exercises to do at home. He also kept the atmosphere light and fun. Also, don't spend a lot of time talking about random things as 'time is money' (something he keeps telling his patients lol).
Overall I would not look elsewhere for my physio and manual therapy as Athlete's care is the best out there in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started to come to one of the physiotherapists and have been following her to this location. . Overall this is a well organized excellent physiotherapy clinic and massage therapy etc. Parking is easy either in front of the building or one of the side streets. You must walk through the small well organized independent drugstore though. So say hello to the pharmacist.

The dry needling treatment that she provides is incredibly effective and the positive results are life-changing. With each visit Dr. Harris continues to give me new exercises, stretches & information so that my wellness continuously improves. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring. Do not hesitate, make an appointment with her and you will be happy that you did!
