Rexdale Medical Centre is a well managed location, and the staff and doctors there are excellent. Dr. Caplan is a truly fantastic doctor, and he sometimes have residents with him who are friendly as well. Dr. Mak and Dr. Cheung are great as well, as I have had to speak to them at times. The receptionists are very helpful, and I especially like Amber. She is very friendly, and has helped me on so many occasions. The nurses are all very friendly, and they do a fine job making the patients feel comfortable. The lab they have there is small, but the nurse drawing the blood is friendly, and gentle when picking me with a needle. If they are accepting new patients, please apply here, and you won’t be disappointed. I’m glad to be a patient here.

This place is the worst service. They are a bunch of West Indies that hang out in the front with toooo much attitude. Should start thinking about the patients calling are very Sick and try and take care of them, instead they act like we who call are bothering them. Worst place to try and get help

Patient status got moved to inactive with out any form of contacting my self - I no longer have a family doctor and I was complete unaware until I was in need of a doctor. I'll take some responsibility as I never saw Dr.Shore for aprox 10 years, but removing my patient status with out informing the patient seems very wrong and now that I need a doctor I do not have one.

I agree with other commentors at this clinic. I called to book an appointment and the receptionist staff took my information and couldn't find my name. She then transferred me to someone else without providing my information so I had to repeat it again. She then tells me I am a new patient and needs to submit a request to my old family doctor to see if she is willing to take on new patients. I asked when will I find out and she says I don't know. staff here is completely clueless and useless in assisting callers. I would avoid this clinic

Doctors are great but the clerical staff is a disaster. They don't have customer service manners ; I was put on hold today for more than half an hour for a question and had to explain the reason of my call to four different people, the last one even told me I don't have the patience! And in between someone who wanted to transfer the call to the person who initially answered, hang up on me. And I usually and luckily do not need to go to my doctor's office. I am an Exec Assistant myself and I can't picture myself performing such a bad job or having others accept that type of performance

The doctors are great but the admin staff are absolutely horrendous. Every time I go there I re-evaluate whether staying with my current doctor is worth dealing with the rude and inept office staff. There have been times where I've sat in the office for an hour waiting for my doctor only to be told the receptionist didn't note that I was there and instead had put me down as a no-show. They don't answer any calls during their lunch hour which is fine but there is more than one admin staff, I'm sure its possible to stagger the lunches so there is always someone covering the phones.

I moved to this clinic about 4 years ago, as I could no longer tolerate my GP of 15 years and wanted a female. Dr. Demetrichuk is wonderful and I was very happy with her care. Until covid hit. I have not seen my doctor for close to 2 yrs. I have had a couple of phone consultations. Luckily I have not needed a doctor. Until today, only to find out office is not open on Saturday and no message can be left. Upsetting.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ashley since I was a kid and if I had a choice I would never switch. His patient list is now full but I hear only good things about the other physician’s that work there as well. Everyone is saying the admin isn’t that great but they’re honestly so busy trying to manage appointments and patients they can only do their best with what they’ve got. Sure, customer service can always improve but their workload is quite heavy so try and be understanding when dealing with them/booking appointments. This is also why they’ve implemented the health portal so more can be done online rather than via phone call.
