A	Anne Francis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was generally pleased with the care my elderly aunt has received. However, with covid, my only means of communication is by telephone. My aunt's telephone has not worked properly for the past several months. I have repeatedly asked for this to be addressed, since is the only way the family can communicate with her. However nothing has been done. Given this, I would not recommend Revera Leaside to anyone.
N	N W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Independent living is good. The nurses are generally caring. Doctors are not great. They kept our family members overly medicated. After leaving we have reduced meds by 70% The head of nursing kept trying to send our family to the more expensive memory care or skilled care unit. Skilled nursing and memory care are terrible. They didn’t have any outdoor time even on the balcony or ANY activities “due to the pandemic” when the independent living DID have activities. Pure BS. During the pandemic our father was neglected. When I was finally able to access him due to wanting to move him he had been sleeping in a urine soaked bed. Lost so much weight. We moved him and now he’s so much better.

The staff at Leaside have been responsive in a timely manner and have been attentive to the clients needs. As a continuum of care site, most needs can be met at this one location. It has been my pleasure to make referrals to Leaside, knowing from experience that my clients are well cared for along the journey. Families have reported pride and satisfaction when sharing about their new address at Leaside Retirement home.

That dear man serenaded my mom, Karaoke style, belting out Sinatra through his mask, and the joy he brought mom is heartwarming! Revera staff are really putting out their best effort amidst a formidable and seemingly relentless challenge from Covid. I applaud the efforts you guys are doing to juggle an impossible task of keeping my mom safe, maintaining excellent daily care, while enabling her these bright moments of joy. Thank you!
