Daily changing menus with exclusively local ingredients showcase the bounty of Quebec and the skill to cook within the limitations of regional availability. I also appreciated knowing that “sustainability” for Alentours includes a living wage for its employees. Alentours acknowledges the cost of food when producers, employers, and the environment are all treated with respect!
As for our experience— The ambience is warm and inviting with sleek, comfortable decor. All staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was delightful and inspired — highlights were the amazingly light and crisp samosa and a lamb pita I cannot stop thinking about. The wines were well curated and delicious — it is impressive that excellent wines can be produced in the Nordic growing climate. I cannot wait to go again and experience a completely new menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant promotes local ingredients, almost everything is from less than 150km away. The presentations are beautiful and the taste of each of our 5-course was delicious. The waiter took the time to explain the concept of the restaurant and each dish.
