A HUGE THANK YOU AND SHOUT OUT TO Rescue Dogs Match!!!! I cannot express my sincerest thanks to this Organization, who has helped me with my furbabies ... Unfortunately, I have fallen on recent financial and health hardship since my MVA. Rescue Dogs Match have been more than 100% supportive, kind and caring to our family! I would highly recommend supporting their organization and helping them by adopting or fostering pets (if you can)... They are prompt with their communication and have gone out of their way to help save and rescue pets! Thank you so much again Rescue Dogs Match for everything you have done for us ❀️❀️❀️❀️

This rescue center has been reported to police on suspicion of fraud. It is widely known and has recieved quite a bit of attention on social media. Look up Lana " The Saddest Dog in the World" . It is suspected they raised money for a dog that they are not helping. Or they mislead people to believe that they were raising money for a specific dog, but actually did not use those funds for the dog. There are a lot of things this rescue center has done that does not add up. For the people saying positive things and giving praise that they are volunteers. Please know many rescue centers are run by volunteers. There are much more reputable options. I believe this place should be closed down, they clearly aren't honest. The dogs would be better off at other adoption centers. And it has been made clear, whoever runs this place is dishonest and scamming people. If all the stories about this place are wrong they have had countless opportunities to set the story straight and ease people's mind yet they have not.

I do not usually write reviews but I have been involved with different rescue groups and have adopted as well myself. I just want to say that people need to be prepared when they adopt a dog. To blame a rescue is just crazy to me. I would never think of slandering any volunteer group. Be responsible get a trainer, take your new dog to your own vet. Some people should not have a pet as it is not an entitlement it is a privilege.

This dog rescue does not adequately vet or test the dogs they are re-homing, leaving unsuspecting adopters with problems or issues they are unwilling or unequipped to handle (eg. aggression, not good with children, etc). They are not great with communication - emails were unsigned with a name so you never knew who you were talking to; emails returned by multiple people so lacking consistency. On first meet of the dog, they sent a volunteer who had never met the dog before and was unable to answer any questions on his history. When I asked for more detailed history, they made no attempt to contact the current owner to obtain any more information. I have since heard from another rescue that Rescue Dogs Match does not have a great reputation within the industry.

We adopted our dog Parker 1 year ago yesterday and are over the moon with him. Rescue dogs match was an absolute pleasure to work with! Communication was prompt and they really took the time to answer all of my questions (I ALWAYS have a ton!). I really appreciated that they asked detailed questions in their application and that we had to provide references and have a home visit prior to adopting him. They really took their time to ensure that we were the right match for him and that he would be welcomed and treated fairly by our mini family. My husband and I can't imagine not having him now. If (and when) we decide to get another fur baby, Rescue Dogs Match will be my first stop. Thanks for all that you do to help these animals!

We recently adopted our puppy tucker from this organization. They are a very small, volunteer run organization that strives to save dogs. Take a look at all of the dogs they have helped, speaks for itself. Previously we had struggled to find our perfect match. Now where I understand that most , if not all, rescues are one hundred percent volunteer run, I was frustrated by the lack of communication from many organizations. Rescue dog match was different. The volunteers worked with my family to find us the perfect dog. I was even able to visit with our chosen pup while the applications were still being processed (great touch). ` Since adopting from them, communication has been great. Responses come back within minutes and we have personally met with several volunteers who have helped us along the way. All of which, are lovely ladies who just want to help! We also donated some money to the organization and we actually gave it directly to the vet- its nice knowing that my money is going directly to outstanding vet bills of the animals who they have helped. We are very grateful for all that these guys do. Highly recommended :)

Recently I went through an extremely difficult and emotionally trying time in my life. My dog (a bully mix) was lost and got picked up as a stray by Toronto Animal Services. After many conversations with TAS they agreed to release him to me if I would be able to get his medical up to date within a week. I am not in a financial position to do so, and I could not make peace leaving him at TAS where his future would be uncertain. With less than 24 hours left to claim him, I desperately reached out to rescues advocating for my boy. I recieved a call from Debra from Rescue Dogs Match a few hours later. She was the first rescue to contact me expressing interest, and I was extremely grateful. She told me they would do his surgeries and send me photos afterwards. She asked me for some of his general info and some photos of him, as she was trying to find him an appropriate foster home. I was so thankful to know there could possibly be a place for my boy at a rescue. Debra ended up texting me the next day to tell me she found a foster willing to take him in a week's time. I ended up going with a different rescue due to time being of the essence, but I must say I am impressed and forever grateful with Debra and Rescue Dogs Match. For being willing to help my dog and myself through an extremely difficult situation. For finding an available foster on limited time and trying their hardest to make it work. They went out of their way to help, and I am forever grateful. Even though I chose a different rescue, I believe my boy would have been okay here as well. This place is committed to helping. To doing what they can to improve and save the lives of animals. Please adopt, foster, donate, volunteer...do what you can to help Rescue Dogs Match do exactly what their name says and help these beautiful rescues find their perfect match. Thank you Debra for taking the time listen to me and to try and help my dog. Thank you for the animals you save on a regular basis. Debra you are a beautiful person, with so much compassion. Honestly words could never truly express the depths of my gratitude. Best of luck in this new year!

Exactly 5 years ago today RDM connected me with Oscar, an old jack-mix who was about to be put down and needed saving. I decided to foster this broken, angry old boy. During that time I was amazed by the support that this completely volunteer run organization offered: food, bowls, toys, driving him to vet appointments, arranging his surgery for his teeth and neutering, etc. They really care about these dogs and it showed. I melted the day Oscar brought his ball over to the Al Waxman statue in Kensington Market to throw it thinking it was a real person (half-blind). Oscar was my kinda lovable weirdo grumpy-pants. I had to adopt him - He gave me a heart. In the last 5 years, Oscar played ball - a lot of ball, he played matchmaker, he played a role in my play with perfect delivery every show, and he played big brother to Ollie. I'm still so heartbroken that Oscar passed two weeks ago, but so grateful to Rescue Dogs Match for bringing him into my heart and life. <3
