Last week prior to long weekend I decided to give remedy a chance after their horrible customer service during Covid. I orders a special item only made during specific times. A man named Taylor took my order and when I went to pick up he called me and said they turned off the oil and could not fill my order. Taylor then said to make up for my gas and time wasted next time I order that specific item would be at no cost to me. So I placed another order a few days later and explained to Ryan the situation and he placed my new order with my specific item that I missed the last time. Not once did Ryan say he would not honour Taylor’s note on file of my 7 free baturi not exactly sure how it’s spelled but my point is when I arrived to pay for the additional items Ryan stated he would not honour what I was told and stated the manger would not either. So they would prefer to throw away my food and once again waste my gas then to honour what I was told. I have emailed management and have yet to hear back about their horrible customer service.

Ordered a red velvet cake slice in the edmonton jasper location and this is what i got!!.. Tastes like it is older than the restaurant and the plate looks like it is from a museum. Even after paying around 5$ for a slice this is what i got.. Horrible service and horrible food. Will never ever go there again. totally disappointed.. who will do a business like this?? ???

Remedy Cafe is a really cool place for a coffee to a full meal. It’s the real deal in coffee shops. Great ambiance and friendly service. I love chai latte and this was a good one. I also had a chocolate chip butter tart that was delicious. This visit was brief but This location on Jasper Ave is cool, it’s comfortable and someone was painting on a small easel at a table so that’s cool. I will definitely come back again and recommend this place for anyone that loves a great coffee shop. It’s clean and well lit but I’m not sure about the washroom it’s got a lot of graffiti, maybe that’s part of the ambiance, not sure but besides that it was clean.

The dosas are so delicious, filling and such amazing value. I love their chai flavours, but had their saskatoon cider and thoroughly enjoyed it on this cold night. It’s great that they’re stocking gluten-free treats from my favourite bakery: Celebrate.

We love the dosa (like a large Indian crepe) with sambar (small Indian soup)! The chai is very sweet. They are proactively cleaning tables, which is nice. It's always freezing cold in there (year-round) so bring a jacket! The bathroom always just has paper towel sitting on the counter, which is a bit unsanitary. Dosa is only available at this location.

I had a really disappointing experience at Remedy downtown. I was with a group of about 6 other people and we went in, ordered our food and had about 45 minutes after we ordered to eat because the location was closing at 8:00pm. The food came out slowly and haphazardly and we were all rushing to eat. My partner had to wait for over 20 minutes for his food. There was a woman at the front (who said she was new) taking our order. She was very polite and gave good service, but the key holder on shift was incredibly rude to us. I've never been kicked out of a place in the middle of eating, but at around 8:05 the key holder came up to us and she asked in a rude tone "Are you guys done yet?" as we were clearly trying to finish up our food quickly. We weren't taking our time - it was clear we were trying to finish up fast because we knew there were closed, but establishments will always allow people to finish their food, if the store is closing - but not here apparently. So we were essentially forced to put our half eaten food in to-go boxes and leave. Plus, to make matters worse the key holder was being really rude to her staff (the new girl) and she looked like she was about to cry. Not a good look for a business to be mean to their staff. I probably won't come here again. I've been going to Remedy locations for over a decade, but this experience really changed my perspective.

The food is good. I love the Kashmiri Chai. The flavour is great. They have a very different menu from other restaurants in town. The vibe is usually good here. I just feel like spending time in there. Its a great place to go for a nice chat with a friend over coffee.
