Credo Coffee - Edmonton

4.5/5 based on 8 reviews

Welcome to credo – a café-based idea that every cup of coffee served will be the highest possible standard of quality and taste.

We have tremendous respect for all who work to provide us with the world's finest coffees - the growers who work at origin, those who source the best of the best, those who import to ensure the beans arrive "in season,"  those who roast to bring out the inherent flavours of the bean and those, in our café, that prepare the coffee and enhance the customer experience.

We believe credo is much more than merely a place to run in for coffee: it is a place to connect, to relax, to discuss, and to feel at home. It is a place where you will be served a coffee that represents everything the producers had in mind when they harvested and evaluated the results of their labour.

At credo, our principle, our commitment, our belief, is to maintain the quality of the coffee that began at seed, and to extract that quality into every cup we offer.

This is a really cute Cafe if you are looking for a coffee. They have delicious lattes and coffee. They have a small selection of pastries, mostly muffins, but have no way of warming it up! The Cafe is pretty small with a small amount of tables but if you're looking for something to go you'll be fine! I definitely recommend checking this place out !

Not bad. My chai was good, and fairly priced. Music was a good mix. Not sure I agree with the comment about perfect temp from another reviewer, my Chai was a bit colder than I slid like, but I looked that it wasn't oppressively sweet. $4 fur small granola seemed excessive

I am giving a FIVE STARS as a barista. I was recommended this place by Coast Edmonton Plaza hotel front desk agent. I just stop by shortly. Credo Coffee has nice vibes to have a cup of coffee. It seems like they have a few coffee systems like French press, espresso and more. (I didn’t pay attention what they have cause I was pursuing espresso) I ordered a espresso and a Rooibos London fog. Espresso had strong chocolate flavour and sweetness was perfect for me. Double shot(2 oz) is their standard for espresso. Rooibos London fog was great. (I forgot to ask for soy milk but I still finished the drink even though I have lactose intolerance.) My favourite features were: Good quality coffee, outside tables, newspaper table.

Their chai latte was aromatic and delicious! This location was fairly small and crowded so if you are looking for a very comfortable cafe to chill, this may not be it. Lots of people dropped by and took their food to-go.

I must admit sometimes I go very early to buy all the blueberry muffins. So good. Nutritious and delicious - a rare combo.

Always enjoy a well made coffee here. This is a excellent place to meet someone or just stop in and have a great tasting coffee beverage. All the different coffees are made and have a great flavor and taste. Also the muffins make a great side as you enjoy your favourite coffee. Staff are friendly and personable. Place is clean and has great people watching windows. Small patio for when the weather is good. Located above Bay Street Lrt. Worth a visit.

Cute little spot in an interesting location downtown. The sitting area of the cafe is warm and welcoming, but it appears it could fill up quickly. For my breakfast, I grabbed a chicken wrap and vanilla latte. The total price came out to 19.50, which nearly made me knock over in shock. I understand inflation and interruptions to supply chains have made goods more pricy across the board, but that’s just some heafty prices. The Vanilla Latte (7.50$) was above average, tasty and a strong cup of coffee, although the price and fact it was served in a paper cup (I was dining in) was slightly off putting. However, the chicken wrap (12.50$) was class, super distinct and satisfying, one of the better foods I’ve had in a coffee shop. If money was no object, I would return and make the chicken wrap a daily breakfast routine. All in all, a mixed experience, and I would probably return to try their other products thanks to the quality offered, even if the price makes me break a sweat.
