About Gong Cha Ultima
“Gong cha” is a Chinese term for the act of offering the best tea to the Emperor. It represents teas and beverages of the highest and finest quality, fit for royalty. Today, the Gong cha company is dedicated to the same principal of providing premium products to its customers around the globe. Gong cha promises to inspire the human spirit and create happiness with a perfect cup of tea.
Established in Taiwan in 1996 by two good friends, Huang and Wu, Gong cha was unique in offering personalized service with premium teas in a variety of innovative and delicious recipes. Gong cha became loved by its customers and news of the company quickly spread by word of mouth. Its quality products grew increasingly popular, and in 2006, Huang and Wu established the Gong cha brand and opened the first Gong cha brand store in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Gong cha has since become one of the best-known providers of quality teas and has blossomed around the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and modern environment with friendly staff. They were knowledgeable in terms of their menu when I asked them the differences between various drinks. Service was quick. I ordered a brown sugar oolong tea as a hot drink during my visit. The default sweetness level was just right, and the quality of the cup and lid was quite sturdy. Overall, I had a positive experience, and would come back again to try out more of their drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favorite bubble tea shops in Edmonton. The place is small, so people usually order takeout instead. The location is excellent because of its close proximity to LRT station, city center mall, and Roger’s place. Customer service is excellent and the place is clean! I would recommend the original bubble tea, it’s my absolute favorite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've gotten bubble tea here so many times and it's always consistent in tatse I've never had a bad one. I typically get it through delivery so I can't speak much about service, but whenever I've had questions and called the staff have been pleasant and helpful. I'd recommend the Brown sugar milk tea, Panda milk tea, Wintermelon fresh milk tea and for people who are unable to have dairy the Peach strawberry smoothie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing bubble tea! I've loved bubble tea and have had it for years now. Here's the problem... whenever I order online, the employees either don't read the special instructions or forget to type it into the machine for the sticker to print out. Their grass jelly has a plastic taste to it and it ruins the entire drink. (I order the earl grey with 3J) so I usually swap it out for coconut jelly or white pearls. I've ordered twice from this location now and twice they've ignored the special instructions. I also try to call in to ask if I get can get it reordered and resent or pick up. No answer both times! Don't think I'll order from here anymore :/

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flavour was alright, probably better things on the menu to try. I tried the Black Forest drink and the grass jelly wasn't the best. Convenient area since it's situated right in the ICE District though. Price is pretty average, similar to most other bubble tea places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is pretty good. A nice variety of different drink options. Service was wonderful , I asked for a recommendation and he followed by a few questions to try and meet what I was really looking for.
Ended up getting the wintermelon, enjoyed it but it was quite sweet (as mentioned tho)
