★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will never shop here again after how I was treated so rudely by the staff today and another lady. Since covid-19 this store has actually become one of the rudest stores in all of North Bay. The staff who work here should all be fired and they should get a new manager.. Kindness and compassion go a long way when dealing with people period. How dare you act so rude. I watched customer get kicked out today for having a mask on but it kept falling under her nose, perhaps her breathing issues?. Really....kicked out? You couldn't offer to help?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The workers were not friendly at all. In fact most were even hostile not just to me but other customers. It was appalling. You can state the rules and policies, but you don't need to be demeaning or irritated with the customers about it. I couldn't believe it. Also there was a price discrepancy with a customer and I watched the customer leave his item behind and leave disappointed - then the worker put it back on the floor at a lower price after he left. Whaaa...? SMH. I talked to the manager... they said I was making things up and that no one is forced to shop there if they dont want to. Wow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really went downhill lately, their prices are a joke alot of broken stuff for sale for ridiculous prices was never greeted once at the cash or even acknowledged when looking at the items in the auction . They have items that a year ago would've been at 1$ maybe 2$ now 5$ bill for every little thing. Crazy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super disappointed in this business. This place has changed a lot since I started going here year's ago. The majority of the staff are rude or not professional at all. After this place shut down for renovations. It was not the same. They started marking up prices on poor condition items. For example. There was no price on a pair of kids converse shoes. These shoes had purple marker, no show laces and we'll.. they were a used donated item. The lady looked at them and told us $15.00. when asking why they were $15.00 for poor conditioned shoes. She said they are " Converse" so it is clearly all about name brand items and marking up items.

This is a great thrift store providing jobs to the employment disadvantaged and clothing to people in need. The cops and firefighters support them with donations.
Prices are way below what you'll find at Value Village. When I visited, the books were picked over but I still walked away with quite a few at 50 cents each.
I read the reviews about rude staff etc. That wasn't my experience, but we are a long way from those early, scary covid-19 days when my local grocery had signs saying "Be kind. We're all in this together."
Let's cut people some slack on the niceness reviews.
So take your donations to a local store doing good, then go treasure hunt with them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible customer service both in the store and dropping off items. The employees are surprisingly rude and seem to not care whatsoever. This is supposed to be a place that helps people and takes donations but they sell items at crazy prices and are clearly out to only make a profit. Also, Donating items should be painless and if items aren't accepted then the staff can respectfully decline it instead of immediately getting upset that you even thought they would take it. I went today for the last time and they wouldn't even look at the stuff I brought cause it was raining a bit, apparently less than an hour in a light rain ruins everything or they just didn't want to get wet. If 0 stars was an option, I'd have chosen that.
