Thank you to the staff at Rebound Health. I have the utmost respect for the care, professionalism, support and dedication you have shown to me while dealing with my long term injury. From the moment you walk into the reception, to leaving after treatment, I never feel like I can not achieve total health. Thank you to Mike for all you have done for me and my family. Your dedication to your craft shows and I am beyond grateful for your care. To the team at the front desk, you keep me on schedule and that says a lot...Will never go anywhere else....that I learned the hard way...

I wouldn't go here again. I have a wonderful physio therapist on the South side but thought I'd try someplace closer to home (West side). So I came in, filled out the forms, waited 25 min. before physio saw me. Was in a large room with other people. The physio bounces between you and others at the same time, sort of a conveyer-belt type of service. But of course, they charge you for the full hour even though you get about 15 min. of personal attention AND you waited for 25 min. before they even got to you. I've seen this style before - they try to attend to several people at once to maximize profits. Poor customer service. Just because it's the univ. people think they're "good". The receptionist (darker haired one) was a bit snippy. Save your money and go someplace where you have the physio's full attention for the full time you're there.

Tim Takahashi is my Athletic Therapist and this man has done wonders for me through my rehabilitation process. He has calmed me down mentally which is worth more than anything else. I have hope in my healing process and I'm not scared anymore. I am honestly so excited to see how far I'll come . I can't wait to be able to use my left arm again. Thank you so much. What a wonderful facility.

I run about 50km per week, needless to say my legs are often sore. Shannon makes my running long distance possible. She makes my legs feel so good. Thanks Shannon. The front desk ladies are also so kind and helpful.

I have been working with Mike on a post surgical issue, all online because I live far away and also with the physical distancing. What a great guy. Easily in the top 5% of all healthcare providers I have ever met or worked with! Highly recommend! Front office staff so great as well!

So I dislocated my shoulder and had to go to emergency. After getting x-rays and seeing that the joint was now back in place I scheduled an appointment with a Sports Medicine Specialist. Dr. Galbraith met with me the following Monday after the injury happened. After he did his assessment he booked me in for an Ultrasound that same day cause he could tell the injury was very bad. After getting an Ultrasound they discovered I completely tore off 3 of 4 muscles in my rotator cuff and the 4th one was hanging on by a thread.  On top of that I also tore off one of two tendons that attach to my bicep as well.  I was told by ultrasound tech, plus the Dr. on call when I got the ultrasound as well as Dr. Galbraith that this 100% requires surgery and that it needs to be done as soon as possible before everything pulls away and deteriorates. I was first referred to another orthopedic surgeon's office in town, they reviewed my file the same day the received it and let Dr. Galbraith know that due to the severity of the injury this repair was not something they specialized in and recommended that it be dealt with from a shoulder specialist.  I was then referred to Dr. Rollick at this office as she is supposed to be a shoulder specialist.  After they had received the referral I phoned almost every day for a week to see if Dr. Rollick had reviewed my file yet, just to be told that she had not reviewed the referral yet.  After a week of phone calls I finally was told that Dr. Rollick reviewed my file and ultrasound and did not feel that my case was urgent at all and wanted me to first meet with her physical therapist first.  I asked them how that is possible based on everything else I have been told up until this point.  They said unfortunately that was Dr. Rollick's opinion on my file. When they first book me in with the therapist I'm told my appointment will be 7-8 weeks out.  The next day I phoned them again and said that 7-8 weeks out is just not soon enough,  they then informed me they had an opening in 3 weeks.  Still to see a physical therapist in 3 weeks to just get told therapy is not an option and that I need surgery seemed pretty pointless.  I was not going to take the risk of having a crippled arm the rest of my life. I had my referral sent to another shoulder specialist in another city.  They looked at my ultrasound the same day not 1 week later like Dr. Rollick did and this Dr. contacted me that same day and informed me that I needed surgery ASAP and tentatively booked me in for emergency surgery in one week.  He informed me that everyone else I spoke to was correct and this surgery needs to be performed very quickly after time of injury.  They like to do this surgery within 4 weeks of time of injury and beyond 6 weeks makes things extremely difficult with very poor results or not even possible.  I had this conversation on a Friday, on Monday they contacted me to confirm surgery for Friday.  I received my surgery and everything went good. I appreciate the fact that this other Dr. and office did not blow me off like Dr. Rollick did and got me the emergency surgery that I needed ASAP.  If I had just gone with Dr. Rollicks schedule and recommendations, the required surgery would have been completely out of the question before she would have ever seen me and would have left me with a useless right arm. Definitely not impressed at all with Dr. Rollick and how she handled my case.  She would have left me in my 40's for the rest of my life with a right arm that I'd barely be able to use.  Unethical as a Dr. if you ask me.

After my appointment with the physio, I was told the exercises would be sent to me via email. In the past this was done within 1 hour but this time, I had to call the next day to get the exercises. Once I received the exercises there were missing information and were different from the exercises the physio had me complete at the clinic. So I had to call back again to seek clarification on how to complete the exercises. They had to re-send the exercises to me three times before they were correct. The last time they sent the exercises, the number of reps and sets changed from the previous instructions. Very confusing. I called back and asked about who I could speak to regarding this poor service and the receptionist told me there was nobody I could speak to about this. Poor customer service. I will not go back to Rebound Health Centre.
