★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just plain terrible customer service, I was just trying to find out if they had some foreign currency on hand that I could come by and pick up. Apparently the procedure is to go through a central number where you are forced to leave a message that they will check at the END of the day! If you want to do something quickly you cannot. It is literally faster to get in your car and drive to the branch to see if they can help.
Anyhow, I did this for three branches and struck out each time.
I cannot fathom how, in this technological age, that they have such a convulted and useless series of hoops you need to jump through and then get no help at all at the end.
I guess the answer is if you need foreign currency just go to one of those exchange places in the mall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Welcome to hell. Customer service at its worst! Wish the whole interaction was recorded. The one star is for the helpful teller who initially helped me out. Was thinking of moving my SME business account to RBC but after that episode, will never consider RBC again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am giving this 2 stars only because I have had some great service from the bank manager, Abby and Paida. However I have consistently received infuriating service and witnessesed terrible service (even turning a customer away for something he could do) from one staff member Nathan. If you get him in line, wait for the next available person!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to the branch to get change many times. Today I was told I can't get change because I'm not a client. I then walked into TD and they just gave me my change, no questions asked. NO CLIENT CARD required. ATB offers free workshops, TD offers free service, what does RBC offer?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I opened an account in August 2018. I still have not received my debit card, although I have received my credit card. I’ve been in multiple times to resend it and make sure they have my address but now it is MARCH and I still don’t have it. I switched banks because they promised me no monthly fees as I’m a student so of course I did it. I was waiting for my card to come in the switch my direct deposit because I’m not going to put money in an account I can’t use. Then they started charging me monthly fees so my account goes into overdraft, they promised no monthly fees. So now I have wasted hundreds of dollars because of overdraft and monthly fees as despite talking to them about this, this has happened multiple times and it’s so upsetting. I’m a student and I can’t afford to waste hundreds over their mistakes especially as I switched because they said my account is free. I even tried to cancel my account and they wouldn’t let me. I’m so upset with this bank and they unfortunately wouldn’t do anything for me. No one should go through this that’s why I’m posting this, unfortunately they do not want to make it right which is more upsetting.

Drive there 30 min to got to an empty building. No bank .... what a wast of time and gas.... if you close put it on the Google map that is why I am not with RBC

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a group of people, unfortunately my accent and country of birth seemed to have everything to do with it. Totally not surprising this branch is being closed. Hopefully it's employees take the time now to sit at home unemployed and reflect on they're disgusting attitude. Karma is a great thing
