S	Sarah Baker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Closest grocery store to me. Great while I had Covid - delivery guy was prompt and very nice. I like that their bags are compostable. I use curbside pickup because I don't want to take Covid/other illness to my 92 yo dad. Today, I arrived at 1754 to pick up. Text response right away. No food 15 min later. Phoned the store. Finally someone showed up 25 minutes later. Not his fault. Apparently the "I'm here" text for curbside pickup goes to a cashier, who forgot to tell the staffer who brings orders out. Not the best system, perhaps? There was no-one else here picking up groceries the whole time I was here. There's no way to get through to the manager, either, to leave feedback. I won't be using QF again, unfortunately. If I pay extra for a service, I would like to receive that service.
J	Jennifer Souter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful store. Large wide aisles, lots of variety in the produce section especially. The take away area will satisfy any craving. Fresh sushi, hot soup, soft sandwiches. Great spot for lunch or a grocery shop.
S	Sam G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shout out to the senior staff at Parksville QF!! The ones who have been there many years, and know their stuff! I absolutely support the employment of younger people as well. QF does a great job at hiring youth in our community, and my encounters with all staff at this new location, younger and older has been stellar. That said, the seasoned staff are invaluable, knowledgable and super efficient! Without them setting such a great example of customer service I’m not sure the “quality” in the store's namesake would be quite as good. Glad that QF recognizes the value of keeping staff like this in place. On a side, note a did a recent return of a floral item (a large plant), which my young daughter had spent her hard earned money on. I have never returned a plant before. Wasn’t even sure if it was going to be possible. Sadly, this plant had come from the supplier infested with scale bugs, that were rapidly sucking the life out of it. We tried to rectify the issue at home, but they were extremely pervasive, and we were never able to take the plant out of quarantine and put it in my daughters room with her other plants. Some time had passed before returning the plant, and we no longer had our receipt. So, I went in expecting some push back. But when I explained the situation ( I also brought photos on my phone to illustrate) to customer service/floral dept there were no further questions. They were able to go back and verify my purchase using my Q card, and an immediate refund was issued. Super easy, and painless experience. The ladies made it very pleasant actually : ) Excellent customer service!!

If you're gonna eat something really bad for you it better taste damn good and that's what Quality food Chinese kitchen delivers. The "small" portions are HUGE. The server just kept adding more and more I had to tell her to stop!
D	DD DD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first experience at QF and I wasn't disappointed. This grocery store has everything you could possibly be looking whether it be a quick, hot snack or quality ingredients to make food at home. I'll definitely be back at some point.

He said that when there was some in the back. They were hard to find and he was able to get me The flavour that my husband liked. He was very friendly and deserves a pat on the back for good customer service. Thanks again Justin!
G	Gisele Verrier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just love this new store, especially the second floor eating area where you can now have a beer, a glass of wine or a cup of Starbucks coffee. Good choice of reasonably priced tapas and salads. Of course their thai soup is still the best on the island. The area is very spacious allowing for social distancing between tables and booths. There is a wonderful gas fireplace. Their adherence to Covid protocols is appreciated.

The store is much bigger and shares the same floor layout as the Qualicum Beach locale. Its really easy to get around in and they have a great selection of produce. Nice and fresh! With the new larger floor space the selection is wider and offers more unique items. The staff are great! Always helpful and cheery.
