K	Koston Morin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I had taken more photos, but more than once I've bought frozen food from here and when I've gone to prepare it, I've found they're mouldy. Like.. mouldy frozen food? You have to mess up hugely to make frozen food go mouldy.
G	Geoff H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prices were awesome, as they usually are. I was really surprised at the friendliness of the staff, who were awesome in helping me find what I was looking for. The manager is actively involved with customers, out on the floor, connecting with people.

Also, if you're looking to get a new smartphone on contract or your current plan is ending soon... Sign up at Walmart, you can choose whichever carrier and plan you want, and depending on which device you choose- you can get a free Walmart gift card of up to $350.⁰⁰ ...last contract I signed up for, I got the LG velvet, on a 2- year plan, and a $200 gift card. The time before that, I got a Samsung Galaxy s6 edge... which came with a $350 card.
J	James Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible Service. Nobody to check you out anymore. There isn't even any bags for your items. It's all self checkouts now. I guess getting the customer to do your jobs is more profitable. I feel sorry for the cashiers that no longer have jobs to perform. This is not progress. This is slapping loyal customers in the face. I will shop Amazon from now on. I will never return to Walmart. There is no longer ANY incentive to shop Walmart. Goodbye.
S	Sarah X on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the unfriendliest customer service I have ever received at a Walmart. Also, what's with the mistrust in people going to the self-checkout or general checkout and wanting them to pay directly in a specific department? I was stopped in the cosmetic department by an unfriendly cashier to pay there. I'm not from the island and didn't know this was their rule. Also, I was once escorted by an employee to the self-checkout like I was some kind of a criminal to pay for an electric toothbrush. He said I can continue shopping once I have paid for this item, but I barely understood a word he said to be honest and was very confused where he was leading me. The first time I visited Walmart in Nanaimo was a year before these events and I remember how employees came really close to me at the self-checkout while the highest Covid-rules were still in place, only to sell me some bonus or credit card.
B	Blue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walmart has installed gates with the intent to stop the rare thief while inconveniencing every customer that comes in to browse. If they want to put gates up fine, who cares, but don't make customers go through a gigantic S shape, trying to make their way past people waiting in line to get out of the store. The customers in line to pay for their purchases were upset telling me to wait my turn, even though I was just trying to leave, because I didn't find what I was looking for. Obviously, if you don't make a purchase you don't have to wait in line with everyone else.

I drove all the way back went too customer service and my groceries were surprisingly there. Thank you to the good Samaritan who returned my groceries or too the cart guy that gathers up the carts. :) thanks again!

Unfortunately, no one approached me to own this reward card. Walmart reward card is so helpful purchasing items from Walamrt particulalry. I love buying while earning points that you can used. Walmart is closed to other stores.
