Nice and tidy store, we weren't offered assistance till we were about to leave and they ended up not having what we were looking for.

Terrible experience, got a brand new pair of reef shoes, not only did no employees try to help me from the moment i walked in untill purchase but when I got home I realised they never took the white security clip off. The girl advised me after i called the shop. to smash it off with a hammer. That absolutely destroyed the shoes the top lace hole is ripped completely open. After further looking i realised that the lace on the other shoe was cut with a knife or something. I was offered a refund. However the shoes were on sale so the refund price is just a waste of my time and gasoline as i live 1.5 hours away from woodgrove mall. Im quite upset at the quality or lack of care given to me by the employees. I am very disatisfied with the customer service as i was offered nothing to remedy the situation. As i still need new shoes. Thanks nanaimo boat house again for the huge let down on a really good priced pair of reef sneakers.

Terrible costumer service. Tried to exchange a hoodie my boyfriend had purchased me for my birthday the day after he purchased it, because it had a small stain on it and they argued with us continuously on how it was our fault. By all means if I had stained it I wouldn’t be going back to the store, asking for an exchange. But I didn’t so I’d think any one who had spent 110$ on a hoodie if they received it damaged would go back and try to do an exchange. When he purchased it the first employee was crying, not paying any attention to him talking to her co worker about switching shifts, he had to ask for a bag himself. So they obviously weren’t paying attention and the reason they won’t return it because β€œthey don’t sell damaged items” and that’s fair but people make mistakes, and to not own up or simply apologize for the mistake and argue with us continuously about it, is very unprofessional. I have worked in costumer service very long and even when you feel the costumers wrong, they are always right. One more thing to add the store manager yelling and fighting with my boyfriend over the phone about it, so very unprofessional. Never in costumer service should you raise your voice at a costumer. 100% will not be purchasing anything from their store again.

Went in looking at shoes, waited for service for 15 min no one approached us and when I saw someone and flagged them they rushed off to the stock room. We would of bought at least 3 pairs of shoes but we're we're ignored completely and avoided. The staff at the front was to busy chatting to leave the till, and the other girl hid. Never be bavk....one of the staff chatting was the manager ?

this is an awesome little store. they have a wide selection of different brands, and they have good quality clothes. prices are decent, and the people here are very kind and helpful. definitely recommend coming here to shop.

I went in to see if they had roller skates (I had gone in months prior and saw some). I kept thinking about them and had gone back a couple times but they had none in stock. Well I went in a few weeks ago and to my surprise they had some!!! The guy came up to me right away asked if I wanted help. He got a pair for me to try on and I said I have to still think about it. He offered to keep them until the end of the day. It was so nice!!! I didn’t end up going back that day but when I went to look at the skates online I realized they sell out of the skates regularly even at the site that makes them. So of course went back to the store, they helped me right away and were friendly. I didn’t get the ones I had saved but I still got some nice ones!!! And for an excellent price! Thank you Boathouse!!

Tried to purchase a pair of shorts. Four staff members around three tills but they only had one open. Had a customer taking all the working cashiers attention and lots of time wanting opinions, etc but finally once rang up, after all this time, then it was tax free - so needed to go through everything again. Cannot believe three additional staff right there but no service or even acknowledgement. One staff member was steaming clothes, one was texting on their phone and the other one standing and chatting to the others. Didn't even acknowledge I had been standing in line for 10 minutes. Only the customer herself acknowledged me as I walked out as she heard me saying to myself, that I didn't have the time to wait any longer. Left the purchase and walked out.. .Management take note.

Just left the store at 2:44 on a Sunday afternoon. Stood in line of over 5 people for quite some time, while one young girl manned the till, mask below her pierced nose, and four other staff members stood around the counter or wandered around doing important things like tearing up a paper bag and ordering food on their phone. I know, I know, it's hard to find good help these days, especially in retail, but customer service is pretty consistently poor at this "hangout" spot.
