They always met and exceeded our expectations in a caring, sensitive and understanding manner. As I live out of town, but made frequent visits, I felt a high level of comfort that my father’s needs were well attended to and with care, empathy and understanding. I was constantly and frequently updated by the staff -- of whom I and my family are very appreciative. There was no issue that they could not manage or handle in a very accommodative and superb manner. And the senior managers often arranged to meet with me around my scheduled visits. Indeed, Clara was a special angel with her dedication , exceptional service and desire to ensure each and every detail and need could be provided. From the first day that we contacted qualicare, Bruce was very accommodating and always looked out for our best interests. Overnight we were fully set up with our own personal caregiver, Clara. Clara was exceptional! She cared for my Mother's as if she was her own. Without Clara and Qualicare, our lives would have been a lot more difficult. Our minds were at ease as soon as we saw Clara because we knew right away that she was the best person to take care of my Mom. I honestly don't know what I would have done with Qualicare. If anyone is looking for personal care, please choose Qualicare, you will not regret your choice!

My mother suffered from late-stage Alzheimer's when we engaged Qualicare to provide daily supportive PSW services to assist with activities such as feeding, personal care, music enjoyment and social engagement. All of the Qualicare staff - especially Clara - offered wonderful, empathetic care to both my mom and myself. Clara took the time and extra effort to get to know my mother and understand her needs, likes and dislikes. I would highly recommend Qualicare to families who need extra support to care for their loved ones.

Qualicare keeps a journal in your loved ones room. The journal is filled out by each PSW. This journal enables the caregiver to know exactly what is happening even when you are not there. I would highly recommend Qualicare, they really do care. j.craigie

He saw us through our father’s illness and death - several PSWs took care of my dad in ER and in the ward, liaising with nursing staff and ensuring his comfort My mother’s terminal illness accelerated after our father’s death Bruce answered our calls during the day and many times well into the night; he would sometimes dispatch someone quickly in urgent situations. He understood how dire things were During COVID, Bruce set aside a specific team to look after our mother’s complex needs and to minimize her exposure to the virus Our QualiCare PSWs are gold! We trust Dodhi, Venukah and Harriet (and others before) to look after my mum, often overnight. They deal with her special needs in a way our family cannot. They have become part of our extended family This is a long review, I know. Our family wanted to show how much we’ve relied on QualiCare Scarborough, and particularly Bruce, to get us through these most awful of days

After telling him what I was looking for (personality was high on the list), Bruce had two candidates for me within a day…the other agencies still hadn’t called back. When the PSW I hired had to leave for personal reasons, Bruce was able to find another amazing person to step in, right away. Bruce loves his job and really cares about the people who work with and for him, he’s able to manage expectations and is always available to answer questions. I have recommended him and Qualicare to anyone looking for help for a loved one and would say, don’t waste your time calling any other agency.
