Great service allowed me and my brother to move and not suffer extreme homelessness connected us to local services and assisted us with communication to these services couldnt be more happy with results much better than what I'm used to for social services. Without MHCH i wouldn't have been able to live in Alberta thank you.

It would take way too long to tell you how bad things can be when it comes to dealing the management and client services !!! Sorry ! If I started I don't know if I would be able to stop . D. Reynolds

What a crock of horsesh*t this agency claims to help those in need of housing but obviously cherry picks the candidates in order to upgrade the office and get money from government handouts. Went to jail because of this agency and housing first.....

Not bad they were kind and helpfull

Pretty disappointed recently with them, I'm currently a tenant and have been a good tenant. Rent paid before the first, no reports on me that I'm aware of. Been in a unit the last 2 years as of july 1st. But due to circumstances in my house I requested a transfer with dr referral as my daughter was just recently diagnosed with adhd and odd and need her own space. We got approved at least a month or 2 ago. We have a 2 bedroom, and need a 3 bedroom which they said could take months ?‍♀️ understandable however this past monday they offered me a unit and I accepted with knowledge they had to do a pre inspection on my unit and I had to have everything in for my yearly review. Done even got tenants insurance confirmation sent to them for the 15th to start. Today was the inspection which went great as far as I was aware but I was denied less then a hr later for the transfer over the phone due to condition of my unit instead of the housing worker that did the inspection. There is some damage... a hole behind the front door due to no door stopper since move in, a cupboard that split at the seam and a fridge condiment bar inside broke in half. Garbage was mentioned being in my backyard but I'm packing and getting rid of stuff for the move and the closet doors that were taken off and set in the closet a year and a half ago with no damage to them. All damages I brought to their attention and was told maintenance would fix it as it's their job and would be repainting the unit anyways. So they've left me with the choice of having to spend all my income to move into a 3 bedroom because my family's mental health is slowly deteriorating and has been for months which will leave barely anything for food and needs for all 3 of us as 3 bedrooms are 1200 and my income is about 1500 or stay and have more possible negative side effects and let our mental deteriorate more because we all feel we dont have space to ourself to deescalate. Also because of the lack of privacy and personal space is why my daughter got diagnosed with adhd and odd when her reactions were extreme like running away or hurting herself and my youngest currently has her bedroom in the livingroom with no privacy just so we can kind of have our own spaces. So in my opinion honesty is not the best policy with them as it is the reason I feel I was denied because all damages I mentioned to them are the reason for the denial even after being upfront and offering to repair them. Not even a time frame to fix them to still get the unit was offered when I was told about the denial. So I feel they believe my family's mental health is not worth fixing when they are more then able to help because of a few broken things that can be repaired in 24hrs. Ps the unit I accepted is sitting empty atm.

Good staff, but not enough housing for large family. Good services.
