★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the largest alpine meadow in Canada with the dramatic backdrop of the high peaks of Glacier National Park providing you a spectacular backdrop to stare at for hours. This place is set up to a higher level than most backcountry lodges with hot and cold running water, flush toilets, private rooms and a large heated drying room. Food is amazing and wonderful caretaker like Thomas plus don’t miss out on getting mountain guides Ken and Stef to take you for adventures

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an incredible place, tucked away from all of the world’s problems. Our guides were professional and really educated about the local area and flora. The food satisfied my inner foodie, and the hikes were brilliant and well matched to our interests and abilities. The staff were also handling the current pandemic with grace and competency. Such a great getaway.

We were catered to, inspired and entertained by an incredible staff including a top notch chef, hiking guides and a hostess with the mostess! 5 stars are not enough for this beautiful hiking, dining, viewing and socializing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a wonderful mountain lodge. Great place for easy rambles or mountain hikes. Views are wonderful. The meals are to die for and prepared by an onsite chef. Staff works diligently to accommodate your needs and trip desires.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful lodge to get away from it all. Absolutely fantastic service from guides and chefs. Guides ensured that pace of hikes were suitable. Food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. We were lucky to see lots of wildflowers in the meadows. Scenery isn't quite as dramatic as heart of Rockies but still beautiful. A great way to spend a few days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Braille Mountain Initiative brought a group of blind skiers to the lodge for their first backcountry experience. Everyone of the participants said it was life changing. The hospitility and service our group recieved was a huge factor in making this a adventure they would never forget. We would recommend Purcell Mountain Lodge to anyone looking to get into the backcountry winter or summer.
Also the food is next level. Some of the finest food I have ever had!
