Pura Vida Vans

Pura Vida Vans did an excellent job of outfitting my Sprinter van, making it a comfortable “home away from home”. I asked for a light and bright interior with lots of seating space, and they delivered, with lots of storage space as well. Alex had lots of ideas to provide the camping experience I wanted, at a fair price.

Can't rave about this place enough. Matt hooked up DC to DC charging for me and was super easy to deal with, patient while I was sorting out my vehicle issues, and did extremely high quality work. Couldn't be happier with the how things look and how it's done. If I ever go for a van build I would jump at the opportunity to get it done here.

Alex and his team at Pura Vida do exceptional work. Pura Vida converted our new Sprinter van into a stunning and functional living space. Our new "Garibaldi" is a perfect combination of the comforts of home and the efficiency of van life. Once COVID subsides I plan to taking Garibaldi on a long climbing trip. Pura Vida rocks!

We contacted Alex from the other side of the world (Australia), He was incredibly helpful and got our Vanlife journey started. Once we arrived in Canada we met up with Alex again and started the process getting our own Van They have done an amazing job and we absolutely love our new little home. I had my van, the Valhalla, built by the awesome crew at Pura Vida. From the first meeting, it was a great experience. They helped us with the design, making relevant suggestions based on their experience. The build is as advertised. The quality is top notch. Alex spent time going over the functions of all components and applicants upon delivery. All and all we would highly recommend them.

Alex and his team are truly amazing. I researched a number of companies and businesses to determine what I felt was going to deliver the best conversion - Alex and the Team were amazing and the right choice right from the start. I was new to this amazing way of life. My last Van was a 1971 VW Westphalia, how the world has changed. Alex was patient with me during our initial calls and my many many questions. Alex even assisted in sourcing leads for a great deal on a Van, I dropped the offer on a used 144 Diesel at Calgary MB and Alex found a beautiful prefect Sprinter at MB Boundary! This proceeded to two in person meetings to look at Pura Vida's various builds both in real time and on line. Alex and the team are a wealth of knowledge having done many amazing conversions that meet the life styles and desires of new owners. The team keep me apprised of progress with regular photos and emails, and assisted with fine tuning various build items along the way. Alex is an amazing sounding board to link your life style, activities and addressing the various advantages and disadvantages of various build options and ideas to create the perfect fit. This is all based on the Pura Vida Teams huge experience "we have tried that and it works" Vs we have tried that and it's not great because of XXXX. Vital knowledge that leads to the best build possible. It was a steep learning curve and Alex's patience lead to my amazing build. Alex's early comments, do it right, build it right, quality and simplicity of systems are vital - and they are. Alex 's philosophy emphasized you do not want to be in the Baja or minus 30 degrees on a trip to Whitehorse, Yukon and face system issues. Keep is simple = reliability. After contacting 4 builders, I came to Pura Vida Vans summer of 2021 with a dream, and just in time for Christmas they made my dream come to life! Words are not enough to describe the joy and gratitude I feel for the work the Pura Vida team have done. Sometimes I sit in the galley or lay on the floating bed and just admire the corners of the cabin and the workmanship of the hands that turned this cargo van to the beauty it is today.
