About PTI Transformers Inc.
PTI’s Corporate Quality & Social Responsibility (CQSR) Department has created holistic view of quality throughout the organization. CQSR consists of Quality Assurance, Human Resources, and Safety. This allows our processes to work together, as true quality encompasses our product, process, people, and environment.
CQSR supports the organization to ensure that there is quality of product and process. As Canada’s largest privately owned transformer manufacturer, it is essential to meet our customer’s needs, expectations, and provide cutting edge products. Our processes have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, and are aimed to reduce and eliminate errors, defects, and continuously improve.
It is crucial that PTI demonstrates environmental stewardship. CQSR supports the organization in developing and adhering to processes to maintain and sustain the environment around us (i.e., through reduction of waste, recycling, monitoring of equipment usage).
One cannot have quality product, processes, and continuous improvement without a strong team. CQSR ensures that PTI has employees who have a high quality life at work. This consists of assisting with recruitment, retention of great employees, training and development, as well as the promotion of programs and procedures to enhance employee engagement. Lastly, and most importantly when it comes to employees, PTI emphasizes the importance of employee safety, both at work and at home. CQSR, in collaboration with employees, has established a safety management system, to ensure that employees have the opportunity to come to work in a safe environment so they can return home safely each night.
PTI recognizes that its success is built on the foundation of the community in which we live, work, and play. CQSR has developed a corporate social responsibility program that works to identify and implement initiatives that will help build a stronger organization and community.
