★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ralph is a great, honest guy!!! I was having problems with my furnace and called around 4:30, left a message explaining what was happening. I thought I would have to buy a new furnace, it is almost 30 years old.... :( Next morning, Ralph came over and replaced the blower motor. Furnace works fine now. Five years ago, different problem with unit, same result: Ralph came over and fixed everything :) He didn't come over to sell me a furnace, he came to fix it. So many companies push you to buy new instead of fixing... not this company. I highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being told by another company we required a new air conditioner at a rental home due to an ice up in the evaporator caused by a coolant leak, I called Protech and spoke to Ralph. He suggested it could be other issues than a coolant leak, turns out he was right! A dirty filter which was changed by other company had frozen the evaporator so badly that the tenant hadn't left the system off long enough for it to thaw and it kept re-freezing. Ralph opened up the compressor area, found a mouse nest which he cleaned out, leveled the cabinet, tested the coolant levels and air temps on the system and determined everything was ok, all the issues were from the dirty filter. It is obvious that the other technician never tested the system for coolant levels or even opened the cabinet! We have now switched our maintenance contract over to Ralph as it is clear nothing was actually being done under the other contract. Feel very lucky to have found Ralph, contacted him because of his good Google reviews, they were spot on, decent, honest and very competent, it is obvious that he enjoys his work and working with people!
