★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed. The cleaners do a half decent job but their management had changed 3 times since I had used them. Numerous times my cleaner would not show up with some new excuse. (The substitute cleaners did a horrible job, not cleaning the sink, toilet, leaving hairs around...) I am an easy going guy and I felt bad for the cleaners because most of them were learning English being new to Canada. (I don't think they were paid very well either.)
The management did not try to go above and beyond, wouldn't return my phone calls when I asked and didn't offer anything for me to continue using their service. Please don't just ask "What can I do?" There is a lot of competition out there, so they need to work a whole lot harder.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TERRIBLE employer the owner BILL doesn't know any cleaning proceedures for the buildings he has contracts for, in many cases has never been to the job sites. They have gone thru 3 supervisors in less than a year.The people in the office ( family members) have no idea how to clean or do a quote for a cleaning contract. They do not pay on time & always have an excuse that they haven't received payment from clients so they can't pay their employees for 3 or 4 days after the 1st of the month. They pay $4-$5 less per hour than you are told when you are hired. Deffinately take advantage of their employees many learning english. BEWARE of this company, whether you are looking for a job or a company to hire for your cleaning needs.There are many more companies out there with excellent leadership & cleaning skills, that care about their employees & clients & will not take advantage of either.

They dont notify if you made mistake at work they just take keys from you!
I been calling a month now asking my pay but they are always not ready! Very disorganized compnay!
I would never work and not suggest anyone to work for them.
Its fraturating ating never seen any company not knowing the dates of payment to their employees!

The office staff are conscientious and friendly. I never worry that my requests will go unattended. Their pricing is fair on whatever job is quoted on. Keep up the great work Prose.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked with Bill and Lucie at Prose Building Maintenance for 2016 and 2017 as the sales manager and supervisor. After a year absence I am happy to be returning. I really feel like part of the family working with them. Since the first day I started I felt welcomed and supported. The grass isn't always greener on the other side and I was very happy that they welcomed me back with open arms after my departure. Carol, the office manager, has been employed for over 10 years and knows the cleaners and accounts inside and out. As with any business - especially one that has been in business for over 30 years - there will be problems. I have always been impressed with the integrity, swiftness and willingness to please our customers AND our cleaners. I have also been a cleaner for Prose and I was always treated fairly, paid on time, paid a fair wage and felt like they always had my back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired prose back in 2009 to take care of our janitorial services. First it started with hiring them for our carpet cleaning. When our contract was up with our cleaners at the time we decided to have them give us a quote. The price was good and they seemed trustworthy so we gave them a shot. Now almost 8 years later we are still very happy to deal with them. Issues have come up over the years, as expected, however Bill and his team have always been very quick at making sure the issue is resolved in a timely manner. I would recommend them if you are looking for a cleaning service. They are kind, nice people running a family business and we have always received nothing but great service.... even when things happen.
