The doctors are great and I would definitely recommend them. However, the reception staff on the other hand is not. I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my first child & I have been experiencing soreness in my lower back. I work as an early childhood educator, meaning that I am on my feet 95% of the time at work. The soreness has progressively gotten worse over the week & in order to get the rest I need & to be out of work, I need a doctor’s note. Dr. O’Malley is aware about my workplace requiring a doctor’s note & told me that if I ever needed one that I could always just call in and pick up the note at the front desk. I had to do this previously during the heat wave & it was done with no problem at all. The lady I spoke to on the phone today told me that there’s no way I could speak to a doctor & I wouldn’t be getting a doctors note because there’s just no time. I informed her about what Dr. O’Malley had told me & told her that I would be on my feet all day in pain & discomfort if I didn’t get a note. I told her I had been trying to get in touch with them since 8am & kept getting sent to voicemail. As I explained to her, all I needed was to speak to a doctor to write me a note & I would come to pick it up. It would take no longer than 5 minutes of the day. Instead of caring about a patient who is pregnant, obviously in need of help & not sure what to do, this lady told me I just needed to figure it out, go to a walk-in or try again tomorrow. What’s the point of having a family doctor if you can’t have access to them when you truly need them? Scares me how easily I was just shrugged off.

Went in with two issues. Doctor addressed the minor issue and dismissed me when I told him my doctor had recommendations 7 more days of antibiotics for a very painful situation but I wouldn't be able to get in to see my doctor due to the holidays. Went to Superstore and the doctor there addressed the issue immediately.

An excellent care centre that doesn't get enough credit for the service they provide. I've had the unfortunate need to see a doctor four times over the last six months and can say that each time staff were caring, efficient, and motivated to help people. My doctor, who I have had the luck of seeing every single time, was genuinely interested in solving the core issue and provided plenty of time for questions to clarify medication, dosage, and procedure. I never felt rushed through the process. There can be a lot of discontent with wait times, however, if you are able to, I'd highly suggest timing your visit with some of their slower times noted on Google Maps. 5pm seems to work best for me as I have been able to get in and out within an hour on a few occasions. Other times I have had to wait over two hours. Given the overall state of healthcare, particularly with overworked staff during the last two years of a global pandemic, they are doing wonders over there.

DISAPPOINTING - It was my first experience in Canada in a clinic, I do not want to generalize but the first impression is always important, I must say that my experience was disappointing, they did not have an electronic system to determine which patient is the next in turn, they simply took the folders and They ordered the way they considered, when I arrived at the clinic they told me that it would take approximately 1 hour, I took advantage of the time to do other things outside the store, I returned 45 minutes later, I asked how many people were missing for my turn and they mentioned that 3, I kept waiting and I saw about 5 people coming and going and they didn't call me, there was no possibility that people would go before me because there is not possiblity of scheduling appointments online. Once they called me to enter a room, there were about 12 people outside in the common area who still had to wait their turn and I thought finally it's my turn, the reward after waiting. But it was a surprise for me when 25 minutes passed and nobody came to my room, so I opened the door to see what was happening and I saw each of the 12 patients who had arrived after me being treated by different doctors. I asked the nurse what was the point of passing before the other patients? , if they were going to attend to them before me. She mentioned to me that the doctor was busy, that's why he didn't come, and it was just after that comment that 15 seconds later, a doctor came who didn't indtrouce himself, didn't say good night or how is your day?, he told me "So you have cold" and I replied, well that's what I think I have but, well, you're the doctor so I came to confirm if it's that or something else. It didn't take more than 2 minutes and he determined that it was cold and that I didn't need medication. I asked him, how do you know it's not a throat infection? and he remembered to grab the tongue depressor, he checked for 1 second my throat and said everything is fine, we are done. I don't know about you but now I understand why this place has 2.3 stars (TERRIBLE! If I can avoid it I will try not to go again). The only reason I went to that place despite its bad reputation was because I don't have a car and I took advantage of the fact that it was close to there.
