Our favourite hikes are located here. They are great any time of year, especially for photography.

A great place to go for a day hike. Long main trail and lots of side trails. Beautiful river to walk along and amazing views from the top of the hill with breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Magical hiking on this quiet trail. 11 outto 10! Follow the shallow river upstream while listening to the babbling brook as you go! Parking is roadside, and the entrances might be easy to miss as there is not much signage, so I've added photos of them! Most of the trail is under the tree canopy. Bug spray may be useful.

Serene! Quiet! Expect to get a good walk. Trails can be slippery when wet but as long as you are careful and wear proper shoes you'll be fine.

Fall season makes this non-operating park a hidden gem, with many trails and lookouts. Some of the trails can be considered medium to hard difficulty, with steep hills. Be sure to bring proper waterproof hiking boots for the areas that are muddy and slippery. It is generally not very busy and it meets up with the Bruce trail. All park entrances are accessible directly from the road, so you can either park on the side of the road or use the Snowmobile parking on the South-East side. Keep an eye out for hunters during the hunting season.

Bruce Trail passes right through this park. There are many side trails in addition to the main White Trail. I find the Blue Trail is better the main White trail. Climb up and you will be rewarded with stunning views. Many wet and muddy spots, so make sure you wear appropriate shoes and carry a hiking stick. There is a couple of beautiful ponds within the park to be discovered. We had a great time on Sunday, October 17, 2021

Enchanting place to hike. The river runs through it and renders it truly a place to be peaceful. Hiking is moderate (at most); relatively easy although there are sections you can head off to for more challenging climbs/descents. It's one of many, many special places along the Bruce Trail, a true Canadian treasure.

River is very pretty, probably the best provincial park to take young children as the trail runs right next to the stream. For more serious hikers, the trail climbs up the hills and the highest point on the Bruce Trail is somewhere around there. There is only one lookout, though. So you have to be content with the trees and river. Cons: There is no designated parking spot so you need to park along the road. Also, I saw an information board which indicated that people are allowed to hunt across the road, so be careful during hunting season.
