★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are a family of 4 went in on Sunday just before 5pm without reservation. There were no one there yet but we were under the impression that our table was probably reserved later so everything came really fast. With this I would like to give 4.7 instead of 5 stars.
But other than that, all the dishes are 5 stars. We ordered 4 dishs from the table d'hôtes menu. Starting from appetizers of sautéed chourico sausages, mussels, fish soup and bean soup. Our main dishes are 1/2 peri peri chicken, seabass, steak and lamb, desserts are pastel de nata, mille feuilles, pear poached in Porto with amazing crème fraîche, and crème au caramel. Even the simple black coffee is well made. Very reasonably priced and well prepared. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our order got messed up by one of their staff, and we had to drive all the way back (almost 30min) to pick up our original order. The manager, who looked very professional, sincerely apologized for the mistake and asked to compensate us for the inconvenience. He asked us what we would like and offered dessert and their hot sauce. Excellent customer service!
Now the food - best fries we've had in the Ottawa-Gatineau area and the most delicious chicken grilled to perfection and brushed when their home sauce. Fresh vegetables in their salad, makes me trust their food quality so much more. Great job, Portugalos team! I'll be back for more :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place with a cozy terrace. Perfectly spiced chicken(on the salty side for me, but that applies for almost all restaurant food). Kids loved the mashed potatoes and rice. Dessert was nice. Great service. Notice to the owner : the tea cup had a crack?).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant. We get Combo #1 for our family of four and it's perfect. Delicious and perfectly cooked chicken, really good fries too. Love that it comes with a salad and rolls, too. Very nice staff, quick, and very good price. Thank you!
