Port Perry Animal Hospital

Took my cat in for a check up and Nancy was amazing. I felt like she actually cared and she was able to give me some great and honest advice. She came highly recommended by a friend of mine and now I know why. Very happy I chose Port Perry Animal Hospital.

Not going into too many details.... But... Gave my dog the wrong heart worm medications, did Not give him rabies vaccination, did not put through some very expensive bills to my pet insurance, which they give you 3 months to do, so I ended up having to pay the bills, told me or was my fault, I specifically told them I would do it myself and they assured me it would be looked after, as that is part of the service they provide. Called many times, no answer, no one would get back to me, I was persistent because I wanted answers, they would not come to the door, so I left an envelope for the Dr, with ONLY her name on it on the front desk, she never received the letter, which has copies of the emails from the insurance company. I was sent an email asking me to stop Harassing them... REALLY? if someone would have returned my calls or emails I would have had no reason to keep trying to get answers... Really insulting to be honest....I spent thousands of dollars in a very short period of time, and the disrespect from staff.... Just maddening..... The reason was because they knew they were in the wrong and did not want to deal with fixing the problem....I would not recommend, Dr Silverberg is nice and easy to talk to, but the staff is sneaky and have a huge problem admitting they did anything wrong... Terrible experience

I'm new to the area and upon finding a tick on my dog I proceeded to find a local vet. A quick google search and this place was first on the list. I called and inquired about setting up a flea and tick program for my dog. I was greeted by the most unpleasant person. I was very rudely told that they only deal with their clients. I again remind this very unprofessional person I'm new to the area and proceeded to have to ask about becoming a client. I was told I would need to go to my previous vet and provide them with my pets records( never did tell her how old the pet was could have been new to me pet) in the most Condescending tone I was given a list of what would be needed. Well let me tell you when I called the next vet on the list and set up a new client file I was greeted by the most pleasant people. I provided them with his previous vet info( they required just the name) and they said they would gladly have the info sent over for me and that no I would not need to take a day off work to drive and pick up this info and supply it before I could become a client. In this day and age as a potential new client (paying since this service is not free) speaking to me in that tone did nothing but make sure I will never deal with this vet. I will be very vocal in my community about this poor service as well as the pet has an Instagram account that I will gladly post this very negative interaction over and over. Oh and if you need any services please don't hesitate to visit scugog animal hospital as they are some of the nicest warmest welcoming vets in the area

I am visiting Ontario with my horse and they came out to Ajax for an after hours/emergency visit. I couldn't be happier with the service at a reasonable price. Thank you so much!

Went in with our 2 large dogs for their annual check up. Were allowed in room during check ups. We all had masks, Dr. Nancy and other tech had visors. Regular great treatment. These dogs will never see a vet other than Nancy. Sorry Dr. Nancy, you can't retire for 15 years if we have anything to do with it!

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Allison, she was friendly professional and knowledgeable. She even called to check on my horse a few days after service going above and beyond the call of duty! Thanks so much for taking care of Dexter we are happy to call you our vet :)

I dont like this place but I do get my flee drops, booster shots, my nails done. I love Dr. Nancy. My mommy and daddy loves this place. They keep bringing us there whether we want to or not.

We had to say goodbye to our big boy, Shadow, this morning, Dr. Nancy and all her staff were so kind and considerate. I think the young girl who is her assistant started to cry. I guess she felt that I didn't want to cry alone. I will recommend this place to anyone who has a beloved pet. ❤️ So much of a difference compared to the place that I was going to before.
