Hard to find the trail head. You have to cross back and forth along the river a few times (I don't remember the exact count but it was 2-3 times) over log bridges. When the river forks, you want to be in the middle of the fork. Trailhead is marked by a little inukshuk and starts off IMMEDIATELY steep. Trail is clearer further in but it stays about that steep for the first 2.5km

Such a great hike!! Parking is just off the highway, in a bit of a ditch so make sure your vehicle can handle it. Follow Porcupine creek from the highway and you'll have to cross the creek a couple times while passing a rock climbing wall (fallen logs help with this). The trail is pretty visible and easy to follow. You will reach one peak that may feel somewhat exposed for some, but makes for a really easy scramble up, take a quick route down and follow the trail up to the main summit.
