Always a great drive. Currently very dusty. Without snow & winter conditions can be driven in FWD cars if you don't mind being jarred for 45 minutes. Not recommended for cars once the snow falls.

Enjoyed this rugged trail located couple kilometers off the Cowboy Trail Highway - lovely scenic view. But...next time I'd try the trail before ascending the hill. Noticed that there was a sign & designated parking area there. Looked a little more patronage friendly. Please note that there are cattle in the area. So be careful where you step. If you have dog's, they might have a unexplainable irresistible urge to roll in cow pies.

Beautiful hike. Close to private property, you need to access one gate. Path is rough and narrow at times so not suitable for strollers. When you get to the big rock your done. Camping nearby

A short, easy hike off of Trout Creek Road (Note: this road is only maintained in the summer). in the Porcupine Hills. There are some great views to the South and West along the trail. From the parking area, proceed uphill along an old quad trail. When you encounter a fence in front of you, take a left through the small gate - you will see a dirt trail to follow. The trail has moderate ups and downs, through tree cover and open areas. The end of the trail is not marked, but the logical conclusion is at a large rock to the right, just over the fence (the trail continues downhill past this point). I wouldn't consider this a destination hike, but a nice stretch from the car is you are out for a country drive.

The snow on the trail was far too wet for my old man body to attempt. My wife and I decided to just enjoy the drive on highway 520 over the ridge to Claresholm and back. If you want a beautiful drive while the snow melts I highly recommend this one.

Some Absolutely stunning viewpoints. The scenery is just gorgeous. Well worth the drive to get to this out of the way place. Very relaxing, quite, and peaceful. Highly recommend.
