Decent dry enough trails with just enough interesting landscapes.

3 hiking trails A B and C. We did A and B. Wild blue berries and bunch berries abound. I would recommend using a gps device, like a cell phone to leave virtual bread-crumbs, esp with trail A. Signage at the 75% mark of trail A could be better.

I hiked all of the loops and the Trans Canada Trail to Rainbow Falls. Loop A needed a bit more signage and loop B used to have a wooden sign saying that the beaver pond was that way. The sign is no longer there and the trail to the beaver pond has a couple trees down and is marked with flagging tape because there is no official signs. Loop C is in great condition. I found the old loop D trail in the summer from loop B and marked it with flagging tape. I lost the trail about 900m in at the end of the rock ridge just before where you have to cross the swamp. I found where Loop D connects to Loop C so I followed it and marked it too. I lost the trail again after the trail descended off a rock ridge and into the bush near White Lake, this time way farther into the loop about a couple kilometres in. I had to bushwhack about 600m to where I lost the trail coming in from Loop B crossing the swamp in the process. After multiple attempts to find the trail between both rock ridges, I still haven’t been able to find it due to it being so grown in and many trees down. The rest of Loop D follows rock ridges so it is easy to follow the trail.

There are 3 trails. A, B and C. We chose C based on the fact that it was well marked on the reviews. It definitely was. It is the longest one at 3.4 km but it goes quick, only took us 45 min. We found it was a great walk deep into the forest with unsteady pathways but being up on the rock tops makes it scenic.

Very poor trail markers. Got lost while I was out there. Experenced hikers only.

Loop B is best. More of a clamber along the granite face with a view from the top. Loops A and C are flatter and wider for use in cross country skiing but IMHO not as interesting.

Great trail, Trail B was well packed to hike, no need for snow shoes.
