Expect an outdoor line up of at least 10 people all day until the hype dies down in the next couple of weeks. But great quality fried chicken, very fresh and crispy. I’m particularly impressed by how the managers and employees responded to the surge in opening demands. Highly recommended!

Upon my first visit to Popeye's Louisiana chicken I had to wait in a lineup outside. It didn't take too long and the service was pretty speedy. I took my order to go and enjoyed myself at home. I picked four meals off the menu and tried all their side dishes. The coleslaw and the beans and rice were very delightful. The chicken was super crunchy and well cooked. I will definitely go back.

Chicken Sandwich was amazing, shrimp had great flavor and the chicken and gravy were delicious!

This place is a disorganized mess and is incredibly slow. Among the slowest fast food I have ever seen. It's not just because they are busy, but because they are incredibly inefficient. The only reason this location has a constant lineup is that they are so slow that they can only keep up with a small trickle of customers. Workers seem miserable. Extremely small portion sizes for the price. Included in the picture is the Popcorn shrimp. A 10$ combo and about 1/4 of the 'bits' were just breading. This is not even enough be considered a snack.

We ordered a classic chicken burger, two fish and shrimp combos and an pieces combo. Chicken was definitely crunchy not greasy like other fried chicken place in town. My husband found the chicken burger a little dry but still good for its price. The chicken combo was a little too salty for our taste. I ordered the mild one but the kids ( 5, 7 , 10yrs old) felt that they were still too spicy for them. The fish and shrimp combo were also flavoured. I think they are Cajun battered. We had 4 different sides: mashed potatoes with gravy, Cajun fries, onion rings and coleslaw. The coleslaw was sweet and creamy. The sides were good. Better to eat them fresh. Overall, I think we would go back for the Chicken burger for sure. They have 5 or 6 sauces to choose from. Maybe the chicken combo although they are a bit more salty and flavoured. (We will prep more drink next time.) Probably not the fish and shrimp (too spicy for my kids)

Super popular, lots of people lining up. I came here at 11 AM when they just opened. But still many people were sitting inside and waiting. Love their mild fried chicken and mashed potato, so nice to have a Popeyes in Greater Victoria.

Great chicken sandwich! This place was hopping - line up of 10 outside the door. The wait for our food wasn't as long as i thought it would be. Our fam had the mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, chicken tender, fries, onion rings, rice and beans and finally, the grown-ups had classic chicken sandwiches. The fries were a hit - kids loved them. Chicken tender and nuggets - ok but apparently A&W are better. Also, our kids insist on sweet and sour dipping sauce and that isn't available here. Credit to the kiddos for trying something new. Onion rings were good. Loved the rice & beans. Chicken sandwiches were delish. Big chicken portion - really big. Bun was great - warm and soft. Kinda like a brioche bun. The pickles were awesome - just like if grandma had pickled some real cucumbers. The restaurant is loud and not big. Seating is tight - i had one cheek of the seat the whole time. Tables were dirty when we sat down. And ordering was a little challenging - partly because it was our first time, partly our server spoke quiet and didn't seem to really know the flavour of their food. That's ok - i look forward to trying the spicy chicken sandwich next time. I'd recommend.
