★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Taiyaki is great! It stays crispy after it cools down. The kids love the chocolate flavor (of course). The sweet potato filling is chunk size of sweet potato that I actually quite enjoy it. The large size Bingsoo is good for 3-4 people to share. Nice customer service too~

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived at 7.55, which is no doubt very close to closing. When I arrived I looked at the menu and the lady said I couldn’t order as it was close to closing. I asked when they closed, and she said 8pm. I asked when they stop serving customers and she said we close at 8, I said it would be helpful if they would update their hours if you can’t order before they close, and she said “are you serious, it’s 3 minutes to closing”. I get it…it’s close to closing, but the message you’re sending customers is that you’re time is more valuable than your business. You were very rude and condescending. You should update your hours to reflect when you stop serving customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a lady there that is always so lovely and sweet whenever I come in for bingsoo and taiyaki. I love her so much she is literally the sweetest lady, always so welcoming and kind. Only decent place where you can find taiyaki, simple dessert dish cooked to perfection! Bingsoo is very nice, huge portion I couldn’t even finish but I couldn’t complain! Definitely recommend, one of the better food places in Victoria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! Their mango bingsoo and taiyaki are excellent! The lady (owner?) is super friendly and kind! I used to go to Vancouver to have bingsoo (Snowy Village). I am really happy that I can enjoy them anytime now!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The red bean taiyaki was amazing! Can't wait to try more varieties. Also pleasantly surprised that the ginger lemon tea was made with ginger and fresh lemon rather than just a tea bag - very flavorful!
Plus I like that it's open later than most cafe-type spaces in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this place- the presentation is great, the service is lovely, and the taste is not to sweet, but just right for my taste buds. I had the Injeolmi flavored dessert (first photo), with the rice cakes. So delicious! Unfortunately the lovely desserts take time to make, and orders were coming in so quick before closing that the worker (working solo) had to stop orders an hour before closing. Take out orders were ringing, and a line up was forming, all just before that final hour. It also didn't help that we were a group of 5, and we wanted each a dessert, and some sort of Taiyaki (dessert pastry with various typws of filling).
The worker stayed calm and continued to work to fill orders. Thankfully us customers were patiently waiting for our desserts. It was worth the wait.
Definitely going to give another try on another day to see if wait times are consistent.
